This report is based on the operational activities of a welfare and non-profit organization named
"American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)" which is operating its
business activities in the USA. One of the most effective contexts of this study is financial
performance and the business portfolio which shows the entire business procurements and
achievements of this organization. Finally, in order to conclude this study a critical
demonstration of accomplishments and losses of its business operational activities has been

1. Introduction

This study is based on the business performance and professional activities of a Non-Profit
organization which is established in the US and maintains its operational practices for
abandoned animals in recent times. The name of this organization is “American Society for the
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)” which has started to raise its funds for abandoned
animals in the USA. According to the organizational portfolio, it has been evaluated that
application of raising funds this organization further started to develop its professional activities
in order to help the abandoned animals which have been affected by their owners in recent times.
In the initial segment of this study, the strategic vision and missions of this organization have
been illustrated which further highlighted the organizational sustainable goals for future growth.
Apart from this, in the next segment, a critical interpretation of a balanced scorecard has also
been demonstrated which further highlights the financial statement of this organization in the last
few times. Finally, in the last segment, a critical interpretation of accomplishments and losses of
this organizational perspective has also been designed which further develops the performance

In this segment, organizational perspective and strategies visionary aspects have been
demonstrated which further influences the business development and performance management
of this organization. According to the business portfolio, this organization has been effectively
working for abandoned animals in USA which has been emerging in recent times, especially in
the commercial cities of USA. One of the most viable aspects of its strategic vision is the
maintenance and achievement of “Sustainable Development Goals” which were further

Figure 1 demonstrates the recent growth of abandoned animals growth in the USA which is one
of the major concerns for the government in recent times. As per the critical illustrations of
figure 1, it has been evaluated that the recent growth of animal abandonment has been emerging
by raising in recent times which further increases their mortality rate as well. One of the major
disputes that have been rapidly developing is the loss of biodiversity due to the mortality growth
among domestic animals in recent times. According to the evaluation of this figure 1, it has
further been demonstrated that the growth of animal abandonment has emerged up to 89.7% in
2017 which accounted for 77.8% in 2016. This graph is gradually rising in recent times which is
further demonstrating the future hazards relevant to American culture. Apart from this, the
growth of animal cruelty in the USA has also emerged which also causes the mortality growth
among domestic animals in recent times which further make significant damage to the
biodiversity as well.

Figure 2 demonstrates the recent growth of animal cruelty in recent times and its impact on the
mortality of domestic animals in the USA. According to the critical analysis of figure 2, it has
been evaluated that the recent growth of animal cruelty has been rapidly enhanced up to 82%
especially among those abandoned animals in commercial cities in recent times. Apart from this,
another significant aspect associated with this figure is that 1.89% of pets have been abused by
their owners in the USA, which has also been extracted from this figure. Moreover, it has also
been accumulated that the rapid growth of animal cruelty and abandonment it is further increased
the mortality rate up to 19% in a single year.

Due to all of its issues "ASPCA" has started to campaign against this animal cruelty and the
abandonment of domestic animals. The strategic visionary aspect associated with this
organization is to reduce the mortality rate among abandoned animals by up to 70% by 2030 in
the USA. On the other hand, the mission of this organization is to rehabilitate 90% of those
abandoned animals who are a victim of animal cruelty and pet abuse. Among all, the initial
mission of this organization is to find abandoned animals in recent times, especially in the
commercial cities of the USA and maintain their food and medicinal procurements. Through the
collaboration with other welfare organizations, it has further started to raise its funds up to
$75,000 in the last year for the food among those gathered pets in recent times. The entire
funding has been accumulated for the foods, medicines for the poor pets and vaccination for all
pets for preventing external diseases in recent times. Finally, the last strategic vision of this

Table 1 is designed with the entire cash flow state of this organization associated with the entire

6. Conclusion

This report concludes the entire business operational development and professional illustration of
ASPCA, which is a non-profitable organization associated with the welfare development of
abandoned animals in the USA. In the initial segment of this study, a critical demonstration of

activities in recent times. Apart from this, a critical demonstration of performance management
