A LOVING MOTHER’S SACRIFISE

Once upon a time, there was a mom who only had one eye, and she had a son. The mother's
son hated her because she only had one eye, which makes him think that it's embarrassing
to have a mother that is like that.

One day, the mother came to her son's school to visit and say hello to him. The son was so
embarrassed that he asked, "How could she do this to me? This is so embarrassing!"

The next day at school, one of his friends kept teasing him and saying stuff like, "Your
mom only has one eye, and that’s disgusting!" The son wanted to bury himself because of
the embarrassment. He said to himself, "Why is this happening to me? I wish my mom
could just disappear!"

On that day, he confronted his mom and said, "If you're only going to make me laugh at
school, why don't you just die?" After that, his mom did not respond. The son didn't even
stop to think for a minute about what he just said because he was angry and oblivious to
her feelings.

He wanted to leave the house, so he wouldn't have anything to do with her. Because of that,
he studied hard. After many years, the son got a chance to go abroad to study. Then he got
married. He bought a house of his own and had kids. The son was happy with life, his kids,
and the comforts.

One day, his mother came to visit him because she hadn't seen him in years and hadn't
even met her grandchildren. When she stood by the door, his son's kids laughed at her. The
mother's son shouted at her for coming over uninvited. He screamed at her, “How dare you
come to my house and scare my children! GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!! " Because of this,
his mother quietly answered, “Oh, I’m so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address.”
After that, she disappeared out of sight.
One day, a letter for a school reunion came to his house. So, he lied to his wife and said that
he was going on a business trip.
 After the reunion, he went to the old town where he lived with his mother just out of
curiosity. His neighbors said that she died. The son did not shed a single tear. They handed
him a letter that she had wanted him to have.

“My dearest son, I think of you all the time. I’m sorry that I came to your house and scared
your children. I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion.
But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you. I’m sorry that I was a constant
embarrassment to you when you were growing up.
You see, when you were very little, you got into an accident and lost your eye. As a mother,
I couldn’t stand watching you grow up with one eye.
So, I gave you mine. I was so proud of my son, who was seeing a whole new world for me,
in my place, with that eye.
