• Planned and implemented a complete instructional plan, involving activities and units addressing English
Language Arts, Social Studies, Core French, Career Education learning standards for Grade six;
• Planned, organized, and conducted student-driven, simulated federal and provincial elections and conducted
school-wide parallel elections using the Student Vote materials, designing election simulations to involve
students in an integrated, multidisciplinary project addressing learning outcomes in multiple subjects;

work, cooperative learning strategies, student presentations, and hands-on learning activities;

donate to a local family who lost their home in a fire;
• As part of a joint British Columbia Teachers’ Federation and Canadian International Development Agency
project, wrote and implemented a global education curriculum pilot project entitled “The Black Plague and
HIV/AIDS: Which is the Worse Plague?”

• Conducted thorough preparation for a Canadian Human Rights Review Tribunal hearing and made oral
submissions at the transcript-based hearing; and
• Conducted Crown files on the list in remand court presided over by a Justice of the Peace, and had supervised
conduct of the prosecution of criminal trials and sentencing hearings.
Interim Administrator
• Educated the Chief and Council in relation to legal matters and advised them in relation to office
management practices and procedures;
• Prepared and presented reports to the Chief and Council concerning office administration and prepared
correspondence on behalf of the Chief Councillor; and
• Supervised a staff of approximately ten full-time and part-time workers, chaired staff meetings, and acted
as liaison between staff and the Chief and Council.
