Marketing & Communications Proposal

Thank you for the opportunity to provide the Bexar County District Attorney’s O ce
with a proposal to support marketing and communications initiatives related to
public safety. KGBTexas Communications will make a strong partner, providing smart,
strategic recommendations. We are excited about this partnership and look forward
to partnering with you.

BACKGROUND
Bexar County has experienced a surge in property and car burgarly, often with the
speci c intent of obtaining rearms from unsecured property. This not only poses a
threat to public safety but also contributes to an escalation of other criminal
activities.

KGBTexas proposes a communications strategy to address this issue and educate the
public on ways to remain vigilant and safe during the holiday season and into the new
year.

AGENCY OVERVIEW

SCOPE OF WORK

Public Relations & Account Service


With our team’s combined experience and deep expertise, we understand the current
media landscape and are able to quickly, concisely and e ectively deliver messaging
that results in positive coverage and reaches your target audiences.

Message Development: Develop clear and impactful messages addressing


property theft/car burglarly. This includes the development of key messages and
speaking points.

Proactive Media Relations: Engage with local media outlets to disseminate key
messages. Potential tactics will include the development of op-eds, press release
editorial board meetings and proactive pitching that highlight public safety
e orts. KGBTexas will leverage its strong media relations with outlets such as San
Antonio Express-News, MySA, San Antonio Report, KSAT and other highly rated
outlets.

Paid Media
It’s our philosophy that every decision about every asset, regardless of medium,
should be driven by sound research and data analysis. KGBTexas has access to a
network of exclusive media partnerships. We recommend executing a 2-week radio
campaign to reach our broad community regarding property theft/car burgarly. In
addition, we will place an ad in the Express-News.

Creative Services
Our creative team will develop :30 radio advertisements in both English and Spanish
to reach core audiences across Bexar County. These spots will emphasize the
importance of safeguarding personal property, the risks associated with rearm-
related crimes. A total of 2 spots will be produced. The team will also develop the ad
for the Express-News.

Additionally, our team will develop engaging social media content that promote
public safety that your internal team can use across your owned assets. This will
include dynamic and static graphics to support communications e orts and broaden
reach.

PROPOSED BUDGET
To perform the above outlined work throughout the month of December, 2023 and
January, 2024, we are proposing the budget to cover public relations services, paid
media advertisements and the supporting creative assets and production required to
execute the campaign. The budget is based on our hourly rates, both standard and
crisis, which are included in the appendix section at the end of this proposal.

equipment rental. The final price on the above may vary by up to 10%. Should individual project specs change, a
revised estimate will be provided. This proposal is valid up to 90 days from the above date.
