LEARNING 1. To familiarize the students with the role of operations and its

COURSE OUTCOMES At the end of this course, students will be able to


CO1: Apply the concept of operations management in manufacturing and
service sector and will be able to plan and implement production and service-
related decisions.
CO2: Plan production and project schedules and plan resources (material and
machine) required for production and assess project completion probabilities.
CO3: Analyze the entrepreneurial environment and formulate a
comprehensive Better understanding of modern production techniques.
CO4: Apply the concepts of purchase, stores and inventory management and
analyse and evaluate material requirement decisions.
