Greetings of Peace!

I am currently enrolled under the Graduate Studies Program taking up Master of Arts in Education
major in English in this esteemed university and will be taking the comprehensive exam scheduled
on February 22 and 29 respectively.

However, due to my participation as coach on the Special Program for Foreign Language in Japanese
to the National Festival of Talents 2020 which will be held at Ilagan, Isabela slated on February 15 to
21, 2020, I will be unavailable to take the test on the 22 nd of February 2020 due to constraints in the
travel period.

In this regard, may I request your benevolent office to allow me to take in advance, the first day of
the Comprehensive Exam on or before February 13, 2020. The reason for this appeal is due to the
fact that the travel hours between Isabela and Manila by bus and subsequently my flight from
Manila to Cagayan de Oro will make it impossible for me to take the exam on the scheduled date,
February 22.

Herewith attached is the Department of Education Memorandum No. 13 s. 2020 as proof of my

participation in the National Festival of Talents 2020.

I am hoping for a favorable response regarding this matter.
