SUBJECT: SITTING FOR THE EXAMS PERIOD JULY – NOVEMBER, 2022

I am bringing to your attention that there were some financial hiccups that had transpired
towards the end of the term and I was unable to clear my balance. Following the memorandum
from the Vice-Chancellor issued in June, students owing the university will not be allowed to
attend classes or access any university services. In the same vein, lecturers were also directed not
to mark assignments/tests for students owing the university. Furthermore, students who would
not clear the outstanding balances would not be allowed to write end of year examinations in the
period July to November, 2022. Along with this, there is a complete list of affected students that
lecturers have been instructed not to allow to attend classes. Nevertheless, despite not having
cleared my balance my guardian passed on during this period and I have not been able to clear
the balance but I have been given a special pass. I am therefore informing your able office that I
have been allowed to sit for the exams. These will be between the months of July to November,
2022.
