Dear Agents,

As a continuous effort in raising our level of compliance, we have listed down some matters
that may need your observation and actions to be taken. Please take note on the points
informed.

Matters Information

Customer Due What is CDD?


Diligence (CDD)
- A process to gather all the necessary information from
customer and beneficial owner, in order to identify and
verify his/her identity.

When CDD is required?

Remittance

- New and Existing Customer (Regardless of any transaction


amount)
- Specific Due Diligence (Below RM3,000)
- Standard Due Diligence (Equivalent to RM3,000 and above)

Money Changing / Wholesale

- New and Existing Customer (exchanging RM3000 and


above)
- Specific Due Diligence (From RM3,000 – RM9,999)
- Standard Due Diligence (Equivalent to RM10,000 and
above)

Please ensure On-going Due Diligence is done, for each existing


customer. Any information which is changed, need to be updated
directly in the system.

RIA Membership card does not substitute the requirement of


sighting the ID of the customer.

CDD (Scanning ID) When scanning of ID is required?

- Customer ID is expired
- ID not available in the system
- Document in the system is not clear or partial
- Any changes in customer’s details, especially in the ID

Accepted IDs - MYKAD


- PASSPORT
- UNHCR CARD
- VISA
- PR CARD (With Photo)
- I-Pass/ I-Kad / E-Kad (with photo and validity date)
- IMM13
- Foreign ID card (Transaction up to RM3000 per customer per
day for border countries only)
- Driving License (Malaysian Citizen only)
- MyKas
- MyRC

Supporting Document - Please take note that the ATM withdrawal slip is not
accepted as supporting document. But if the withdrawal
slip has an account number, use the Bank Account
Verification Form to verify the account belongs to
customer.

Please take note on the points above. Please do contact the compliance department, if you
need any clarification on the matters above.
