ASSISTANT COOK
Kerala Tourism Development Corporation invites application from eligible candidates for
the post of Manager Gr.IV and Assistant Cook.
No of vacancy : 01 (One)
(ii) B.Sc. Degree in Hotel Management and Catering technology (DHMCT) awarded by
the institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology or equivalent qualification
obtained from recognized Universities or institution recognized by State/ Central
Governments (Equivalency certificate should be produced along with the application ).
No of vacancy : 05 (Five)
(ii) Certificate in Food Production from FCI / KIHMS /IHMCT / NCVT certificate in cookery
or equivalent qualification obtained from any institute recognized by State / Central
Governments. (Equivalency certificate should be produced along with the application)
Preference will be given to those who have minimum three years experience in 3 star
and above category of hotel as Cook / Chef in the food production department.
Age : Between 18 and 36 years as on 1st January 2021 with usual relaxation for eligible
SC/ST and OBC candidates, for both the posts.
Candidates satisfying the above requirement may send application in plain paper with bio-
data and a recent passport size photograph along with self attested copies of the certificates to

prove age, qualification and experience, superscribing the post applied for, by ordinary post to the
following address within 15 days from the date of advertisement. After conducting the scrutiny, the
eligible candidates will have to attend a written test for Manager Gr. IV followed by an interview and
written test ,trade test followed by interview for Assistant Cooks, which will be intimated to them by
e-mail and telephone call. Hence please intimate the mobile number and e-mail ID in the application
