COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course studies the functions of the urban economy: the market sector and the public sector, economic analysis of
issues such as land use, environmental quality, transportation, housing, income distribution, and financing of urban public
services

NOTE: There will be only ONE make-up for Mid-term tests but NO make-up for quiz because it is continuous and it is
a bonus on attendance. Therefore don’t come to complain that you missed a quiz. If you will miss a class, obtain express
permission from any of the lecturers-in-charge

infringe on the liberty of another member of the class or smooth running of the class. In the same vein you should be
ready to take responsibility for your action(s).

Requirements for Examination: A candidate must be registered and must also have 70% attendance to be qualified
be examined in this course at the end of the semester.
