What a highway would think

about corona virus

Author: Tanvi Jaiswal
Illustrators: Measa Sovonnarea, Pia Meenakshi, Priya
Kuriyan, Sadhna Prasad, Tasneem Amiruddin
These days are often quiet,
No honking or riots,
I've got a weight off my back,
No trucks on my tracks.

2/5
I finally get peaceful nights,
But yet there are street lights,
I might even fall asleep,
With no vehicles going 'peep
peep'.

3/5
I sometimes feel lonely,
But that thought has to flee,
The sunset is so pretty,
It lights up the city.

4/5
The fog has cleared up in the
sky,
And the sun is not so shy,
Bird chirping is all I hear,
I wipe off a happy tear.
