WRITING & SPEAKING

Write a 100 words paragraph about an awful vacation that you had in the past.

Answer these questions to generate ideas:

a. Where did you go?

b. Who did you go with?

c. What exactly happened to you?

Make sure you include information about: accommodation, food, transportation

and any detail that can help you to explain why it was not a pleasant break.

On my vacation last year I planned a trip with some of my classmates to the Galapagos

Islands. We had never visited the Galapagos Islands before and we were very excited.

We searched for a reservation online and found an incredible vacation package, which

included a hotel, food, and a tour of all the islands. It was perfect for us since it included

a guide for all the islands and he explained it to us in detail.

We traveled by plane and after landing as it was the first time we felt a little dizzy. After

several phone calls, we decided to find the hotel on the map. And they called us from

the travel agency that we hired to pick us up at the airport.

We arrived at the hotel, changed, ate and went out to explore San Cristobal Island since

it was close to us.

The next day, we started our trip and went out with the tourist guide to visit all the

Islands.
