 Introduction

In this work we can deepen and strengthen our knowledge in what refers to the writing
ability of short texts, where they use and conjugate the adjectives composed, modal
verbs, and Progressive past.

With the learning acquired in this unit we focus on having a skill, which is not only
writing but also reading the same texts in English, where we can improve our analysis.

The proposed exercises generate a great learning and extend the knowledge towards
the interpretation of each of them, since the proposed material for the unit is right for the
student, which allows to carry out the development of the exercises.
 Goals

1. Perform the writing of short texts in English.

2. The correct conjugation Adjectives composed, modal verbs, progressive past,

time and enough clauses, uses of forms, future in texts.
1. Topic 2: Modal Verbs, write 1 sentence using each one of the following
modal verbs regarding your role as citizen: can – could – may - must -
should - ought to – have to – need to- had better - would.

 I can be a better student if I try a bit more

Paragraph 1: First day
On the first day of my trip to San Andres, I will be with my girlfriend, we will take the
flight in the morning to take advantage of the day and have enough time to enjoy my
trip.
I will get to the hotel, I will make my registration and later I will organize my itinerary for
my next two days, there I plan to attend historical sites, beaches and organize diving
and exploration activities.
Then I want to know the facilities of the hotel, try the food and explore the beach that
the hotel has available, then I will take transport to the center and visit perfume shops,
chocolates and clothes.
In my first day visit I will have dinner with my girlfriend in a good restaurant where we
can try some typical dish of the region and end the night to go out and have a good
wine but this will not be so late since the next day we must get up early.

Paragraph 2: Second day

On this second day I will get up at 5 o'clock in the morning as we will go around the
island by bicycle, on the recommendation of some friends it must be early since the sun
prevents this activity without receiving sunbeams and enough heat, in this activity I hope
to observe landscapes and the sunrise on the island.
In the previous activity it will take approximately 4 hours, by which I must be back at the
hotel at 10 o'clock in the morning to receive the induction to dive and then carry out the
activity, in it I want to observe corals, fish and get a video of this activity .
After lunch at the hotel and we will have a beach afternoon, rent a car to visit the nearby
beaches and enjoy the sunset, I want to take advantage of that day and keep trying the
different dishes that can serve us.
To finish the second day we will have dinner at the hotel and go to bed early to get up
early on the last day of the trip since the flight will be scheduled for night hours.
Paragraph 3: Third day.

On this last day we will get up early and make a visit to an island called jhony cay, for
this itinerary we will reserve a plan that will include transportation, lunch and drinks so
we must arrive at the pier very early to take advantage of this activity.
There we can observe different kinds of fish, exotic animals and excellent landscapes of
nature, of course the 7 colors of the sea which is one of the tourist attractions, this
activity is a bit extensive therefore it will last until noon.
After the activity we will move to the hotel to collect suitcases, deliver the room and
organize everything for our return to Bogota, but not before moving to the center and
finish making our last purchases.
To end our vacation we will move to San Andres airport at night, where the flight will last
two hours, so I will return home to rest after a trip of three days.
