Introduction
First, we chose this topic because we love chocolate. We wanted to
learn more about this addictive issue.
Due to the fact that so many people love chocolate, we wanted to know
the reason why people love chocolate so much. This topic was more
interesting to us than the other topics, on the one hand it is so simple o
but on the other hand it's so complicated. Our goal is to find out at least
one fact we didn't know about chocolate.
In our work we will investigate few issues:
1. Why chocolate is so addictive for people?
2. How many kinds of chocolate are existed in the world?
3. How to make chocolate?
4. Survey and graphs.

2
Why the chocolate is so addictive for
?people

Chocolate is an addictive food and these are the reasons:

When we eat sweet or high-fat food our brains are as happy as our
taste buds. Eating sugary and fatty foods causes the brain to release
serotonin, which helps stabilize our moods and protect against
depression, and because of that chocolate activates the brain's pleasure
centers.
Chocolate is rich in both fats and sugars, so it's easy to understand how
it can make our body crave and eat it excessively. It also contains
addictive substances: The amino acid tryptophan, which is used as a raw
material to create the serotonin neurotransmitter that regulates the
mood in the brain, and the phenylethylamine which causes a feeling of
excitement and attraction. No wonder we like chocolate.
Eating chocolate under pressure provides a sense of comfort.
Studies have shown that people have experienced intense pleasure and
longing for more when they have eaten chocolate.
Some chocolate addicts even show similar behavior to drug addicts,
such as cravings, irregular eating, anxiety and abnormal moods.
Many of us consider it a forbidden pleasure, which makes us want it
even more which is why it feels so addictive.

How many kinds of chocolate are existed in
?the world

chocolate that have joined the chocolate industry recently. In this part,

How to make chocolate?
Making chocolate is a long and fascinating process and here is an
explanation of the process chocolate goes through until we taste it:

Step 1 – Cleaning:
Cocoa beans going thorough cleaning process.

Step 2 – Roasting:
The cocoa beans are getting roasted to add to the chocolate's aroma.

Step 3 - Remove casing:

Remove the thin shells.

Step 4 – Grinding:
After the cocoa beans are grinding, the cocoa butter is created.

Step 5- Separate cocoa butter from cocoa.

Step 6 - Make the chocolate drink:

At this point, prepare the chocolate according to individual recipes. In
the case of milk chocolate, milk and sugar are added together with the
cocoa butter to make the chocolate paste. In the case of dark chocolate,
cocoa butter, cocoa solids and sugar are added.

Step 7 - Peel off chocolate paste:

The final distillation process to fully expose the final flavor is when
melting the chocolate paste.

7
Step 8 - Temporary storage:
The chocolate is poured into molds to match the actual design of
chocolate bars and individual packages.

1. We found out that there are four basic chocolate types, but there
are several types of chocolate that have joined the chocolate
industry recently. To our surprise, we found that there are 8

stabilize our moods and protect against depression, it is activates
the brain's pleasure centers, and that's why it's addictive.

3. According to a study we did, we found that most people finish a

chocolate pack within a week. In addition, we found that most
students don’t eat chocolate before tests. According to the latest

Reflection

We had a lot of fun working together. We had some challenges along

the way, but we were able to overcome them. The subject really
interests us and we learned a lot of new things about chocolate.
Aviya: I had a lot of fun working with Inbar. I like the subject and I
learned more about chocolate. I like especially to design the project and
gather information. I had difficulty writing the information but still
managed to overcome the difficulty.

Inbar: It was very fun for me to work with Aviya, and the
communication between us was good. I enjoy working on the project.
I really like chocolate, and I wanted to learn more about it.
There were parts that was more difficult, or that I didn't find enough
information, but in the end it all worked out.
