Preface
The performance of successful Göetia Magick Rituals is based upon several factors, one of which is
hardly ever broached and that is, “Timing.”
I have created this special version of “The Lemegenomicon,” to include aspects of an actual evocation of
Spirit #10, Mercurial President Buer. My reason is to show a physical example of a complete ritual of
one of the most beloved, and trusted Spirits of the Göetia. He is a healer, and teacher, and appears when
the Sun or other planets are in Sagittarius. This may be confusing, as he is a Mercurial Spirit, yet under
the additional planetary rulership of Jupiter, owing to his special talents.
I have created several editions of what I call, “Condensed Rituals,” for each one of the Noble Ranks of
Spirits, ruled by the 7 Ancient Planets. Still, many of the same elements are to be found, although the
specific Moon Signs, and Planetary Rulerships differ.
These additional editions include the following:

About the Condensed Göetia Ritual
About the Performance of the Condensed Göetia Ritual, By Voxx
Please do not allow yourself to believe that you can just forego the first part of this booklet. You must
read the entire book before you attempt any of the magickal rituals contained in this book for your own
psychological safety. Make sure you understand the premise of the book, as well as the basic ritual as set
forth in the earlier section. Failure to do so will not only ensure that your ritual will not work, but may
backfire completely, leaving you open to a host of magickal, emotional and even psychological problems.
The only thing different about the Condensed Version of the Göetia, is the simplified method of verbal
conjurations involved. The Magician must still perform the Ritual at the proper times, organize the
contents of the Göetia Spell Kit©, set up the Göetia Altar, Göetia candles and incense, and put down the
Magickal Triangle, etc. This version is great, because you don’t have to put down the physical Magickal
Circle.
The Spirit will still manifest within the Magickal Triangle, under your command, but this Ritual should
only take an hour or less, if done correctly. There’s no need to rush. Take your time, and put effort into
your ritual, being careful to perform each part of the Ritual properly. Focus is the main factor of the
ritual, not length. Remember to keep the Ritual brief, concise and to the point. Here are the points from

Instead of the longer version, this annotated version requests the help of a multitude of
magickal beings to assist in the evocation of the Spirit; including Angels of the Days, and Hours,
and a host of Elementals ruling the Air (Sylphs), Water (Undines), Fire (Salamanders), and Earth
(Gobs/Gnomes).

Pre-Ritual
Before you start your Ritual, make sure to unplug/turn off the phone and lock the door so your ritual
will not be disturbed.
Fill out the Pre-Ritual Forms found at the back of this booklet.
Use a small table or flat surface for your Göetia Altar.
Place the contents of your Göetia Spell Kit (including this booklet) onto your Altar, by following
Diagram #1.
Take a Ritual Bath before the spell with the Bath Salts provided in your Kit. Anoint yourself with
Olive Oil, or special consecration oil of your choice (not the Göetia Oil.)
[Note: If you have purchased a Göetia Magick Spellkit, the Consecration Oil will be provided.]
Anoint all the candles with the provided Göetia Oil (specially formulated for your particular Spirit.)
Light the Göetia Incense.
Proceed with your Ritual as outlined in this booklet.
Before leaving the Circle, fill out the Ritual Forms at the back of this booklet. This will ensure that
you will remember as much detail as possible regarding the performance of your ritual.

Times to Perform the Ritual Evocation of Göetia S pirits
See Appendix VII, on Page 41
Best Days to Conjure All Spirits: Conjure these spirits when the Moon is 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12
or 14 days old. The Göetia relates that the Spirits should be evoked only on these days of the Moon,
stating that no other days are profitable – in other words, your ritual will not work. Thus, evoke the
Spirits only during the Waxing phase of the Moon only. In addition, evoke the Mercurial Spirits
when the Moon is in a complimentary zodiacal sign, pertaining to your particular aims.
Regarding the Moon: The Moon should be Waxing, and this operation can ONLY successfully be
performed on the “even” days of the Moon, such as 2,4,6,8,10,12, and the 14th Days. See the special
information regarding the timing of the Evocation of the Mercurial Spirit, Buer, at the end of this
booklet.

order to learn more about how to plan the timing of your evocation to ensure a successful ritual.
Best Hour to Evoke the Göetia Spirits: For Example, the Göetia states that the Mercurial spirits (such
as #10/Buer), may be evoked at any time, except twilight, or at night, unless the his ruling King be evoked
as well. I would suggest performing your Buer evocation during full daylight hours, as any evocation of
the King ruling Buer, should only be performed by a Magician with great experience. Thus, the first hour
after Sunrise, or one hour before Sunset would be best. Make sure you are completely finished with your
ritual before morning twlight, or evening twilight! I advise taking a Göetia Class on Magickal Timing in
order to learn the secrets of a successful ritual. Contact the author to arrange the most beneficial time.
As a serious Magician you need to learn how to calculate the proper Magickal hours in which to perform
your rituals for the best results.
The Magickal Hours: You need to choose the Rising Sign (Ascendant/Hour) that rules the Nature of
your desire; OR choose a planetary hour wherein the planet ruling your desire should be well-aspected, and
in a zodiacal house that will lend focus to your ritual. In this regard learning a bit of Basic Astrology will
be very helpful to you. Find out about the 7 Ancient Planets, and the Zodiac, as well as the Astrological
Houses in order to learn how to understand the method in which the spirits work.

1. Cultivate a pure desire.
2. Release the lust of result; do not wish, do not believe … simply, know.
3. Show respect for the Goetic Spirit.
4. Purity of body, and magickal location.
5. Conscientious preparation of Ritual Altar.
6. Observe the Powers of the Sphinx: “To know, to dare, to will and to be silent.
The entire process of the following Ritual has been modified, and greatly simplified for your Magickal
convenience, as well as success.
The discerning Magician will note that the Göetia Spell Kit is a safe, condensed Ritual for evoking the
Göetia Spirits.
As a final note regarding the above subject, should the Magician feel the need to utilize the
above-referenced sections of the Göetia, I urge him/her to purchase the hard-cover copy of the Göetia
by writing to me through my website.

Preliminary Preparations
Important Note: Read this entire section of your Göetia Spell Book before attempting to perform your
Evocation. After you have finished reading this section, please go through the contents of your Göetia
Spell Kit to familiarize yourself with the contents. Make certain that you accurately understand the order
of the Ritual, and the proper Altar setup before proceeding. If you have questions, please contact the
author. Your questions will be answered promptly.
Concerning the Magickal Altar

To perform the Ritual correctly, you will need to set up an Altar in the proper Quarter, where you will
place your Altar Candles, Göetia Candle, Göetia Oil and Incense.
Concerning the Magickal Circle

To perform the Ritual properly, you will need to construct your Magickal Circle, which will protect
you from experiencing any negative effects from the evoked spirit.
Concerning Magickal Triangle
You will be placing your Magickal Triangle in the proper direction of the Great King who rules over
the Spirit you are evoking. Oriens (aka Amaimon) in the East, Amaimon (aka Göap) in the South,
Paymon (aka Corson) in the West and Ariton (aka Ziminiar) in the North.
Note: For example, in this version, the Spirit #10/Buer, A Mercurial President, is ruled by King
Göap, the Infernal King of the South; However, as a Spirit of Mercurial Air, it may be best to face East,
the direction of King Oriens. If you use King Göap, point the “Cha” of the Magickal Triangle, toward the
South; Still, the best direction will be East. When using King Oriens, remember to point the “Cha” of the
Triangle facing East. The main idea is to insure that the “Cha” of the Magickal Triangle is pointing in the
direction of the King.
The Importance of Magickal Purity

According to ancient magickal tradition, one of the most important pre-requisites to performing ritual
magick is cleanliness of mind and body. In order to receive the most out of your ritual, please refrain
from negative thoughts and sexual activity for at least 3 days prior to the performance of your ritual.
In addition, it is advisable to avoid the consumption of meat, alcohol and any unprescribed drugs, as the
impurities from these substances will lessen your magickal force considerably. When performing
Magick, consecration and purification are two of the most important actions in any ritual. Consecration
is achieved through the element of Fire; Purification through the element of Water. Every magickal
object in a ritual is considered inert, or “inactive” until properly consecrated and purified.

Ritual Bath
After you prepare yourself inwardly through discipline and outwardly through controlled behavior,
you must purify yourself ritually by taking a Ritual Purification Bath. Since your body is the vehicle
for your magickal work, it needs to prepared as well. For your convenience, a Ritual Bath Purification
tablet has been included in your Göetia Spell Kit. Below, you will find the instructions for
performing your ritual cleansing.
Instructions for Taking Your Ritual Bath:
For your purification bath, buy Hyssop teabags from a healthfood store, and put 2 teabags into the
water; OR if you have purchased the Göetia Deluxe Spellkit, use the Buer Bath Salts included in your
kit. (1 or 2 Tablespoons are sufficient!)
1. Clean out your tub with hot water and gentle soap; make sure to thoroughly rinse it out.
2. Plug the tub, and fill the tub with water at a temperature that is comfortably hot.
3. Place the Hyssop teabags (or Buer Bath Salts) into the running water.
4. As you soak in your ritual bath, dip your hand into the water and anoint the temples at your
forehead and say the following incantation:
The Adoration at the Bath:
English Version: “Thou shalt purge me with hyssop*, O Lord! and I shall be clean: Thou shalt wash
me, and I shall be whiter than snow.”
Latin Version: “Asperges me, Domine, hyssopo, et mundabor: Lavabis me, et super nivem dealbabor.”
Thelemic (Crowley)Version: “Asperges me, Therion, hyssopo, et mundabor; lavabis me, et super
nivem dealbabor.
Continue to soak in the tub for at least 5-10 Minutes, as you meditate and relax; magickally preparing
yourself mentally for your magickal ritual.
Upon completion of your ritual magick bath, dry off with a clean towel and proceed to your sacred
magickal space where you will “robe up,” putting on your ritual garments. These garments should be
clean, and of a suitable color, such as black, or the elemental color of the Göetia Spirit to be evoked.
For example, the color of the robe to evoke the Mercurial spirits should be either Orange, (the color
of the Sphere of Hod on the Tree of Life). Other colours permitted may be Yellow (for Air,
associated with Mercury); Violet (another colour associated with Mercury). Read below for further
information regarding magickal apparel.

Ritual Robing
If you happen to possess these additional magickal garments, by all means utilize them. However,
many novice magicians do not own these items. Despite the fact that these items should be added to
your aresenal of magickal accoutrements, they are not absolutely necessary. You will find that the
more you prepare yourself, inwardly and outwardly, your attitude toward your magick rituals will
become more thoughtful, thus lending a particular sense of mystery and glamour to your workings that
will enhance the magickal atmosphere.
Additional Magickal Garments (Optional)

Other magickal accessories include the following articles: A Sceptre, a Sword, a Mitre, a Cap, a long
White Linen Robe, and other garments for the purpose. Some grimoires suggest the Magician wear a
girdle of lion’s skin, three inches broad, with all the names written about it, which are found around the
outermost part of the traditional Goetic Magic Circle. However, with the current state of Nature’s
bounty depleted, and in an effort to be respectful of all living creatures, the author of this book
strongly advises against procuring such an item as lion’s skin, instead invoking the lion within.
The Adoration at the Wearing of the Vestments
Say: “By the figurative mystery of these holy vestures (or of this holy vestment,) I will clothe me
with the armour of salvation in the strength of the Most High; ANCAR; AMACOR; AMIDES;
THEODONIAS; ANITOR; that my desired end may be effected through Thy strength, O
ADONAI! Unto Whom the praise and glory will for ever and ever belong! Amen!”
After you have spoken aloud this adoration, make prayers unto God according unto thy work, as King
Solomon, the first to control the Göetia Spirits, once commanded.
The Wearing of the Protective Seals

The Seal and Ring of Solomon are worn to protect the Magician from the negative effects of dealing
with the evoked Spirits. Remember, you are dealing with Demons, not angels. Please take this advice
with all due solemnity. Neglecting to take the proper precautions in this situation may have a seriously
negative effect on your subconscious mind, as well as leave you open to obsession, psychological
imbalances and undesired physical and magickal consequences. If you have purchased the Göetia
Magick Deluxe Spellkit, all the necessary Protective and Spirit Seals are provided.

Preparing the Göetia Altar
You will need a clean, flat surface (preferably square) such as a table or dresser. You will also need to
get a “lighting candle”, lighter or matches, and an incense burner. You can obtain one easily at most
gift shops, or a drug store in the candle section. You will not need charcoal as the Spirit incense comes
in stick form. Older traditions suggest the use of a “lighting candle” to light all the ritual candles, as it
is believed that the Fire Spirits (Salamanders) prefer the candles in the ritual to be lit by a “living
flame”, instead of an artificially-produced one. Any plain candle may be used as a lighting candle,
provided it has never been lit before.
Göetia Altar: When evoking Buer, have your altar face East, toward King Oriens’ direction,
(remembering the former instruction.) The Altar holds 2 White Altar Candles; The Altar is where the
Magician recites any prayers and conjurations as listed in this booklet.
Articles on the Göetia Altar
(Note: Everything should be on the altar except the Magickal Circle Candles.)
You will consecrate each and every item listed below before starting your Ritual. Remember, you are
dealing with dark energies, and do not want to become magickally contaminated nor obsessed, so please
follow each step carefully.
1. Evocation Booklet with instructions & incantations (keep it on the Main Altar.)
2. Candles:
a. 2 White Altar Candles (for Consecration Altar);
b. 1 Göetia Spirit Candle;
c. 1 Planetary/Tarot Candle;
d. 8 Candles for magickal circle; (Note: These are placed on the floor to create the Magickal
Circle. See Appendix IV, Page 38 for Diagram).
3. Consecration Oil;
4. 1 small bottle of Salt; (for adding to water, to purify the Temple.)
5. Göetia Spirit Incense;
6. Göetia Spirit Oil;
7. Göetia Spirit Seal Necklaces (Pentacle of Solomon on reverse side.)
8. 1 Hexagram of Solomon & Tetragrammaton Necklace.
9. 1 Symbol of Solomon’s Ring (on the back of the Magick Circle Necklace.)
10. 1 Mini Spirit Evocation Triangle;
11. 4 Pentacles of Solomon (Tetragrammaton) Mini-Candle Holders (to hold the magickal circle
candles;)
12. 4 Hexagrams of Solomon (Adonai) Mini-Candle Holders (to hold the magickal circle
candles;)
13. 1 Bottle of Göetia Spirit Buer (or other Spirit’s Bathsalts.)

Consecration of the Altar Articles
Take a bottle of Consecration Oil and place it on your Altar. Open the bottle and dab a drop between
your right forefinger and thumb. Then, as you take each item from the altar and anoint it with a drop
of the Consecration Oil. Rub the oil on the sides of the Ritual Göetia Necklace in order not to stain
it), consecrating each article, saying:
“By the Power of the Element of Spirit, I consecrate this creature of sacred Magickal Art to the Great
Work. So mote it be!”
Make sure to consecrate each and every article with the consecration oil. You may dab a small drop
onto the center of your forehead, if you wish … but be careful not to get it into your eyes.
After you have completed consecrating each article, place each one in its proper place upon the Göetia
Altar.
Get a blue cup or glass and fill it with purified water. (Bottled water is convenient.) Take 3 pinches
of Salt with your right hand, and sprinkle it into the cup/glass of water and say:

The Magickal Circle
According to the Lemegeton, The form of the Magickal Circle should be made to duplicate the coiled
serpent shown in the book. However, the task of duplicating this incredibly ornate circle can seem
daunting, even for the experienced magician.
In order to simplify the design, yet protect the Magician, you can use yellow rope in multiples of 3; such
as 27 feet of rope can be wound around 3 times, creating a small protective circle of 3 Feet in Diameter;
54 feet of rope, wound 3 times gives a circle of 6 Feet in Diameter; however, the Diameter of the
suggested circle is 9 Feet, which entails using 81 feet of rope. Most Magicians do not have the necessary
space, so do what you can. For those who have purchased the Göetia Magick Deluxe Spellkit, you DO
NOT have to use a Magickal Circle, as a replica – in the form of a necklace, will adequately serve the
same function. However, it may be of interest to know the sacred names inscribed on the serpent. These
are magickal names of the Archangels, Angels, and Holy Names of the Sephiroth of the Tree of Life.
The Divine Names & Crosses of the Magickal Circle
The Divine Names that are to be written around the Magickal Circle are provided and numbered on the
back and should be placed around the circle, going to the left, and wrapping around like the coiled
serpent in the book of Göetia.
The small Maltese crosses are placed to mark the conclusion of each separate set of Hebrew names.
These names are those of Deity Angels and Archangels allotted by the Qabalists to each of the 9 first
Sephiroth or Divine Emanations. In English letters, they run thus, beginning from the head of the
serpent and wrap around 3 times, lining up the Red marks as mentioned above.
The Hebrew names have been translated for your convenience. A Glossary to guide you in the proper
pronunciation of the Holy words is also provided at the end of this booklet.
For your reference, the holy names are as follows, and the cross symbolizes where the word sequence
ends. The following words DO NOT need to be spoken, they merely need to be present.
“Ehyeh Kether Metatron Chaioth haQadesh Rashith ha-Gilgalim S.P.M. (for “Sphere of the Primum
Mobile” + Iah Chokmah Ratziel Auphanim Masloth S.S.F. (for “Sphere of the Fixed Stars,” or S.Z.

The Magickal Triangle
If you are performing the “Condensed” version, place the Magickal Triangle upon a small table or your
Altar, with the upward point of the Triangle facing the proper direction of the Great King (in the case
of Buer, the topmost part of the Triangle will face East, the direction of its King, “Oriens”). The Spirit
will manifest in the circle of the Triangle. You will also place the parchment Seal of the Spirit Buer upon
the Magickal Triangle, in the center circle. Wear one of the sigils, and place the other in the circle of the
Magickal Triangle. (See Magickal Triangle in Appendix V, Page 39).
You will be facing the proper direction – East, commanding the Spirit to manifest his energy into the
Magickal Triangle. Once you have performed The First, and/or Second Conjurations, you may or may
not “see” him, but you will definitely sense his presence once he has arrived. For those who have
purchased the Göetia Magick Deluxe Spellkit, remember to wear one of the two Spirit Seals of Buer
around your neck, and the other seal should be placed in the center of the Magickal Circle in order to
command Buer to manifest within it.
NEVER leave the Magickal Circle or invite the Spirit into the Circle, as you will be effectively
breaking your Magickal Circle of protection.
A Word of Warning About Spirit Manifestation
Important Note: If you are Psychic (as the author happens to be) you may see a vision of the Spirit.
However, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT try to force the Spirit to physically manifest before you.
It is unwise to command such a thing of the Göetia Spirits. Besides, they need a physical vehicle to
inhabit to grant your request. I highly urge you to refrain from offering your blood, or anyone or
anything else’s in such an attempt, as it is unnecessary to see the Spirit in order for him to grant your
request. The author cannot vouch for the sanity nor safety of anyone who does not adhere strictly to
the rules and precautions as outlined in this booklet. So, to sum up the warnings one last time: there is
simply no need to do the following things during your Göetia Ritual:
DO NOT make deals with the Spirit;
DO NOT offer your soul to the Spirit;
DO NOT offer your blood, or the blood of any creature to the Spirit.
When the Spirit is in the Magickal Triangle, command him respectfully to do your bidding, and DO
NOT offer him anything as mentioned previously in this booklet. Keep your commands specifically
worded, brief, and to the point. A short good, meaningful time spent with the Spirit is all that is needed.
After you are done, perform the License to Depart quickly, and with authority. Do not bore the Spirit
with unimportant info. NEVER tell the Spirit what you DON’T want, only what you DO want.

Preliminary Rituals: Banishing, Purifying & Consecration
Declaration of Ritual Intent
You are now ready to commence the Evocation of one of the Göetic Spirit, Buer.
“It is my solemn intent to magickally evoke Buer, the 10th Spirit of the Göetia – a great President!
Spirits of the Void, hear thou me!”
The Lighting of the Altar Candles
Take the lighting candle (or lighter) from the Consecration Altar and light the left Altar Candle first,
then the Altar Candle on the right, as you say:
"I am uplifted in thine heart; and the kisses of the stars rain hard upon thy body."
The Lighting of the Göetia Spirit Incense
Take the lighting candle (or lighter) once again and light the Incense, as you say:
“Let the Fire and the Air make sweet the world!” (Genuflect.)
Note: Wait until you begin the actual Conjuration of the Spirit to light the properly-colored Buer
Göetia Candle. (Orange, the colour of Hod, associated with Mercury, the Ruling Planet of the Göetic
Presidents.)
This symbolism is powerful, as the 17th Path/Mercury is ruled by the letter, “B” (Beth). This letter
symbolizes the “Sword”, with which Hermes-Mercury, the Lord of Healing and Communication,
conveys his vibrational magick.

Ritual Banishing of the Temple
Preliminary Magickal Ritual #1
The Importance of Ritual Banishing: Before any magickal working (other than certain forms of Chaos
Magick,) it is absolutely necessary to banish negative energies from your magickal place of working
(your Temple.) Please perform the necessary Banishing Rituals before performing your Göetia Magick
Spell to ensure your magickal well-being and balance.
Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram: No doubt, if you are reading this book you have come across
the mention of this very basic, yet important ritual. For your convenience (and for the neophyte
magicians reading this book), I have included instructions for its performance in the following pages.
Magickal Warning: Do not attempt to do any magick whatsoever without performing the Lesser
Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, or the following simplified version. To leave out the
Banishing Rituals before or after performing your ritual may leave the Magician open to obsession, and
worse, possession -- and yes, I’m quite serious.

Purification & Consecration of The Temple
Purification of the Temple by Water
After you have successfully banished the Temple, it is clean and ready to be purified and consecrated.
The banishing negates unwanted energies; now you want to add your own energy to begin balancing the
room with positive, cleansed energy. Therefore, you balance the room by introducing the two
primary magickal elements, Water (the Mother), and Fire (the Father). These two elements create a
Hexagram of divine energy within the room. Think of the 6-pointed Star of David. The downward-
pointing triangle is the Water triangle, and the upward-pointing triangle is the Fire triangle, Together,
these two interlocking geometrical shapes symbolize perfection and magickal balance.
Facing East at your Altar, take your right hand and place your thumb, index and middle fingers together
and dip them into a small cup of water, holding the cup in your left hand. Then, sprinkle the water
outwardly toward the East making a downward pointing triangle outline like this: 1 3 2 as you
sprinkle the water and say:
“By the Lustral Power of Primordial Water, I purify this Holy Temple, so mote it be!”
Walk deosil (clockwise) to the next quarter of the circle, stopping in the South, and dip your fingers in
the water, once again sprinkling it outwardly toward the South making the same downward pointing
triangle saying as you sprinkle the water outwardly: 1 3 2
Again, walk deosil to the next quarter of the circle, stopping in the West, and dip your fingers in the
water, once again sprinkling it outwardly toward the West making the same downward pointing

Consecration of the Temple by Fire
Taking a lighting candle (or lighter/matches), and ignite a Consecration Incense Stick (or cone scented
with Frankincense), and standing in the East, facing East, draw an upward pointing triangle with the
incense like this: 1 2 3 as you say:
“By the Sacred Power of Primordial Fire, I consecrate this Holy Temple, so mote it be!”
Walk deosil to the next quarter of the circle, stopping in the South, and once again draw an upward
pointing triangle outwardly toward the South, as you say: 1 2 3
Again, walk deosil to the next quarter of the circle, stopping in the West, and once again draw an upward
pointing triangle outwardly toward the West, as you say: 1 2 3
Again, walk deosil to the next quarter of the circle, stopping in the North, once again drawing an upward
pointing triangle outwardly toward the North as you say: 1 2 3
Returning East, walk deosil back to the Altar and place the Incense Stick into a waiting holder, on the
Southern part of the Altar; then crossing your arms across your chest as before, and facing East say:
“By the Sacred Power of Primordial Fire, I declare this Holy Temple dutifully consecrated. So
mote it be!”
Now your Temple is cleansed and purified, dedicated to your Magickal Working. You are finally ready
to begin the next level of building up the energy to ensure a powerful evocation of a Mercurial Göetia
Spirit.

Regarding the Greater and Lesser
Invocation Rituals of the Pentagram:

If you are familiar with the Supreme Ritual of the Pentagram, feel free to use it in its entirety, making
sure to follow the directions carefully. This particular ritual can be requested as an addition to this
booklet.
If you do not know how to properly perform the above-mentioned ritual, it is better to leave it out,
rather than to make a mistake that will prey on your subconscious mind, making you worry. It is better
to stick with what you know during such a ritual. Of course, if you would like to learn more about
these rituals, please contact the author.

Regarding Liber Samekh
At this point, in the longer version of the Göetia Magick Ritual, the Magician would normally perform
the ritual known as “Liber Samekh”, also know as “The Bornless Ritual”. Although it is a magnificent
ritual, it is not necessary to perform it for the Condensed version of the Göetia Ritual. The
pronunciation, meanings and numerical mysteries (gematria) of the complex words may be purchased in
my book, The Barbarous Names of Evocation; they may also be studied in class form as well; feel free
to contact the author.
The Conjurations of a Mercurial Göetia Spirit

(Long Version)
Make sure you are wearing your protective necklaces (the Hexagram/Tetragrammaton Necklace; The
Magickal Circle Necklace, and the Spirit Seal Necklace – yes, all three!) Keep the Hexagram Seal of
Solomon facing toward your chest, and reveal it only after the Göetia Spirit Buer, has been called, as
this will compel the Spirit to take on his fair, human shape to the psychic eye.
While you stand at the Altar in the East, light the Göetia Spirit Buer Candle, and the Göetia stick
incense. Take the Buer stick incense, and walk around the circle (clockwise) inscribing a circle
of incense smoke around the circle, then return back to the Altar and replace the incense stick into the
waiting incense burner.
Then, while holding this booklet in your left hand, facing East (toward King Oriens), recite the
following conjuration.
*Ideally, you can use a book, or music stand, and place the booklet there for convenience.

of this ritual.

Candle Safety: Leave the candles burning safely, and do not leave them unattended. If you must
leave, snuff out the candles, and light them again only at proper times listed elsewhere in this booklet.
Do not blow them out, suffocate them out by placing a small saucer over the glass for a few moments.

causing harm or danger unto man or beast. Depart, then I say, and be thou very ready to come at my
call, being duly exorcised and conjured by the sacred rites of magic. I charge thee to withdraw peaceably
and quietly, and the peace of GOD be ever continued between thee and me! AMEN!”

Repeat the License to Depart additional times (2 or 3 maximum) in order to ensure the spirit has
positively left.
After you have given the Spirit the license to depart, remember to give thanks for the great blessings
bestowed upon you by having your wishes granted, and for being delivering from all harm.
Banishing the Circle
Say the following: “I declare the evocation of the Spirit Buer to be accomplished, and the Circle
banished from all negativity; so mote it be!”
IT IS DONE!

Before Leaving The Magickal Circle
Final Banishing & Cleansing of Magickal Space
First and foremost, be sure to repeat the performance of the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram!*
Failure to do so will result in a host of problems. Do not be fooled into thinking the Spirit
will “hang around” and do more for you, because it’s not true. Once you command the spirit to do your
bidding, you need to make sure you release it so it can perform your commands. It’s like mailing a
letter – your message won’t reach anyone unless you mail it! So make sure, you follow the instructions
from the previous sections of this booklet. Göetiamagick.com is not liable for any mental breakdowns
or tragedies that befall those who do not heed the instructions of this booklet.*
Before leaving the Circle, make sure to record your experience on the page reserved for this
at the end of your working. Sit down in the center of the Magickal Circle, (while the candles and
incense are still burning,) and write down everything that you did, in order. Report whatever visions
or thoughts you might have had, including your emotions.
* Note: If you perform the Supreme Ritual of the Pentagram (and its final Banishing), there is no need
to perform the LBRP.
Post-Ritual: Important Magickal Tasks
Regarding Ritual Addendum: The final pages of this booklet contain forms that should be written
on. Feel free to copy them first, so you can have templates for future use. However, if you would like
parchment paper forms for use in your future rituals, please contact the Author.
Filling out these important entries is very important, as you will later see that your visions, feelings,
and other phenomena can be identified accurately. This will allow you to see exactly how the Göetia
Spirit you have evoked has performed the task you commanded by the performance of your Ritual.
Post-Ritual Magickal Record & Dream Journal Entry Sheets 1, 2 & 3

Please fill each of these pages out daily for the first 3 days following your Ritual to record any
phenomena that may occur. During the first 3 days following your Ritual, you may experience
“normal” situations and dreams, that may later yield much more interesting facets.
Post-Ritual Divination
If you are a student or experienced practitioner of any of the divinatory arts such as, Tarot,
Astrology, Numerology, or the I Ching, please ask the necessary questions, which are listed as follows:
* Was I successful in evoking the Spirit?

* Did I make any mistakes in my evocation?
* How will the Spirit manifest my desires?
* Where & How will the Spirit manifest my desires?
* Are there any additional points I need to know about?
* Any other questions you may have, etc.
Please record your questions, and the EXACT answers you receive. Write down the names, numbers,
hexagrams or any other detailed information you receive onto these provided pages. The answers to your
questions will serve you well.

Final Steps for Success
Failure to perform the previously outlined steps will undoubtedly work to your ultimate magickal
disadvantage, as should you need to retrace your magickal steps to figure out why a particular result
was achieved, you will not be able to accurately analyze your Ritual Data. I have been keeping a Göetia
Ritual Record for over 25 years, and have learned much about the results of certain actions that were
taken during my rituals.
1. When you are finished writing your experience in the back of the booklet, or your magickal
diary; put away everything, EXCEPT the lit candles, which you should keep lit, until they go
out naturally on their own. If you find this is not feasible, put out the candles (without blowing
them out, snuff them out with your fingers or use a candle snuffer.)
2. If you have to put them out (to go to work, etc.) put all your ritual paraphernalia away safely,
hidden from the eyes of anyone else. Remember, keeping your magick, private and to yourself
is very important. As Buer is a Mercurial Spirit, and therefore, a President, his candles may only
be lit between Sunrise (usually by 6:30 am) and completed by before Twilight (before Sundown)
on the 2,4,6,8,10,12 & 14th days of the Moon. Contact me if you have any questions!
Also, make sure to put out the candles before going to sleep to avoid creating a fire hazard!
3. If you live under conditions where you will be present during the burning of your candles, until
they go out on their own, that’s wonderful; However, it make take several days for your Göetia
Candle to burn down, but you should only relight it on the correct days of the Moon as
mentioned previously, such as these days of the Moon’s age: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, & 14. Relight it on
these days as it is more important than the Moon Sign, at that time. Burn it for as many hours as
safely possible. Also, do not leave it unattended, for to do so is dangerous! Göetia Magick is not
responsible for any misuse of any of the ingredients of your Spellkit.
Note: There are tales of people putting everything their candles into a cleaned out bathtub, safely within
a 9x13” cake pan, to let the candles burn all the way down safely. If you do that, make sure you take the
shower curtains down beforehand, and make sure the plug is in the tub, to make sure no hot wax, flows
down the drain. Also, you should make sure that the room is free of any drafts, children, pets, or any
other objects that could possibly catch fire.
Please read the Section of this booklet entitled, “Afterword,” for important information regarding
the necessary Post-Ritual Instructions.

Afterword:
Important Items To Consider After Conjuration
The basic order of events needed to successfully complete your evocation of the Goetic Spirit, is as
follows:
1. Again, before leaving the Circle, make sure you have recorded your experience on the
page reserved for this at the end of your working. Sit down in the center of the Magickal
Circle, (while the candles and incense are still burning,) carefully writing down everything that
you did, in order. Report whatever visions or thoughts you might have had, including your
emotions.
2. Remember to write down your dreams for the next 14 Days, as these dreams will reveal
` much about how your Magick is working on your subconscious mind. Feel free to send your
dreams to the author for clarification and interpretation.
3. Be patient. If you have performed your Ritual, it will work – however, possibly in ways that
you do not understand.
4. Learn to really listen and pay attention to events around you. Even chance remarks you hear
at this time can give you insight as to how your Spell is working.
5. Once you DO get proof that your Ritual is working, do not brag to your family and/or friends.
They will just worry about your sanity. Don’t worry, the proof will be found in your Magickal
Diary, which you hopefully will start keeping once your Ritual is done.
6. Continue keeping your Göetia Dream Diary for at least 1 month. Recording even daydreams
or strange thoughts that come to you. Remember, Magick is inexplicable in the way it manifests
your reality.
7. Continue keeping your Magickal Diary in an on-going fashion, as it will show you ultimately
how your Göetia Ritual ultimately manifested.
After you have performed either one of the Rituals contained in this booklet, all you can and
should do is relax! Let the Ritual go -- all that you could have done, should have been done to the
letter as indicated in the foregoing instructions. Do not waste your time “believing” that you have done
magick. You are a Magician, and you should simply KNOW your power. Always remember, “Lust not
for result!” After you’ve gone through the considerable amount of mental, emotional, and physical effort
of performing the Göetia Ritual by using this helpful Spellkit, and all that goes with it – such as setting
up your altars, you will understand that doing Magick is real work. I commend your sizeable efforts
in this regard.
Remember to keep up the good magickal habits you’ve created here by continuing to fill out your
Magickal and Dream Diaries. Don’t stop now! Keep a journal of your Divinations, get more Spell Kits
as needed.
By now, I am sure you can see that a lot of real thought, consideration and care has gone into the making

Angels of the Hours: Calculating the Planetary Hours

A great way to determine the correct Planetary/Angelic Hours is to check your local sunrise and
sunset times from the newspaper, or the website such as www.sunrisesunset.com.
The traditional way to determine the Planetary/Angelic Hours is to take the time from Sunrise to
Sunset and to divide them twelve to get the length of each hour for the day. Then, for the nighttime
hours, take the time from Sunset to Sunrise for the next day, and divide those by twelve for the length
of each Planetary/Angelic hour of night. Then starting with the planet that rules the day, e.g. Saturn
for Saturday, follow the Chaldean order and assign the proper planet to each planetary hour of the day
and night that you have just calculated.
[Note: Sunrise begins the First Hour of the Day; The First Hour of the Day is ruled by the Angel
Ruling that Day; i.e. Sunday is ruled by the Angel of the Sun, Michael. Therefore, the First Hour of
Sunday is the Hour of the Sun. The First Hour of Monday is ruled by Gabriel, etc.)

The Magickal Göetia Circle
It is important to note that in the Longer Version, the Serpent’s Head from the entire nine-foot circle,
always faces the East. The only thing that changes is the direction of the Apex of the Triangle,
depending on the spirit to be conjured, and the direction of its King.
Note 1: Those using the Göetia Magick Spellkit need not worry about this, as the Magickal Circle is
present on the protective necklace.
Note 2: In the accompanying Diagram #2, the Magickal Triangle’s apex is pointing toward the East, the
direction of the Triangle is dependent upon the Infernal King who rules over the Spirit to be
conjured (in this case, Buer – whose King is Oriens, ruler of the East). See the Diagram of the Göetia
Altar on Page 38 above).

Appendix VI
The Magickal Triangle

If you are performing the “Condensed” version, place the Magickal Triangle upon a small table or your
Altar, with the topmost point of the Triangle facing the proper direction of the Great King ruling over
Spirit you intend to evoke, as earlier described.* Remember to place the parchment Spirit Seal in the
green circle of the Magickal Triangle, as this is where the Spirit will manifest. You will need to wear
the other Spirit Seal around your neck.
As the Magickal Circle is laminated with plastic, you should cover it with a piece of wood-covered foil
to keep the plastic on the Magickal Triangle from overheating, and thus melting. This will in no way
negatively affect your ritual; it also adds an additional point of safety.
*Note: In the case of the Spirit Buer, the Apex of the Magickal Triangle will be facing South, as
well as yourself – after performing the necessary Preliminary Rituals, of course.
You will be facing East (for Buer), commanding the Spirit to manifest his energy into the Magickal
Triangle. Once you have performed The Condensed Version of the ritual (or the Conjurations found in
the Lemegeton), you may or may not “see” the Spirit, but you will definitely sense its presence once it has
arrived.
Remember, you are never to leave the Magickal Circle or invite the Spirit into the Circle, as you will be
effectively breaking your Magickal Circle of protection.

Astrological Timing for Evoking the Göetia Spirits

Times to Perform the Ritual Evocation of Göetia Spirits
Best Days to Conjure Spirits: Conjure Göetia Spirits when the Moon is 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14 days old, in other
words, only when the Moon is in its Waxing Phase, and on direct course. The Göetia relates that the Spirits
should be evoked only on these days of the Moon, stating that no other days are profitable.
Regarding Moon Signs: For your greatest magickal success, for example, evoke Buer when the Moon is in the
Sign ruling thy desires. (See Appendix). For example, it is propitious to perform the conjuration of Buer, when
the waxing Moon occurs on a Wednesday (the Day of Mercury). Refer to the diagram below for more details.
Moon Signs & Phases: To find out the Daily Moon Phase and Sign, please contact the author.
Best Hour to Conjure Spirit: Another example of timing, is to note that the Göetia states that Buer, as a
President, may only be evoked at any time except Twilight or Night, unless you evoke King Oriens, and as I
advised on previous pages, this is not to be done unless you are an extremely experienced Magician. As always,
check your local listings for info regarding times. Reread the chapter in this booklet regarding more info
regarding proper timing.
For evoking Buer: The Days and Hours of Mercury (Wednesday) are best, although the days and hours of the
Sun and Jupiter work well too; However, you should choose the Rising Sign (Ascendant/Hour) that rules the
Nature of your desire. See diagram below. Also, note the symbol “!” indicates to exercise caution, as results may
be unstable.
