EXPLAIN THE CONTINENTAL DRIFT THEORY?

Alfred Wenger, a German scientist, envisioned the concept of continental drift. Numerous scientists
were doubtful of Wegener's hypothesis initially because they assumed the earth was indeed a solid
mass due to the lack of proof or elaboration of how the landmasses relocated ago. The plates are
moving due to convection currents beneath the surface of Earth. Landmasses have shifted uniquely
related to one another over earth's history, creating the appearance of "drifting" throughout the ocean
bottom. exemplifies one of the initial suggestions geologists had regarding how landmasses moved over
time. Gondwana ultimately gave way to the landmasses we recognize today. the theory that perhaps the
pangaea progressively shifted from their current form

IDENTIFY THE PIECES OF EVIDENCE OF CONTINENTAL DRIFT THEORY?

We can gather some scientific proof for continental drift theory from fossil remains, rocks, glacial
deposits, climate change, as well as paleomagnetism. The fossil evidence is indeed form of evidence
which heavily supported the Concept of Continental Drift. Similar patterns of creatures and plants have
indeed been found in rock formations of a different generation on the coasts of multiple continents,
implying that the land masses were formerly united.

EXPLAIN THE SEAFLOOR SPREADING THEORY?

Harry Hess, an American geophysicist, initially presented seafloor spreading. the geologic procedure that
takes place at the separation between two plates when hot magma in within ground pushes its way to
the top, starting to cause the plates are moving off from one another. Molten material starts to cool and
solidifies at these subduction zones, establishing new seafloor or sea surface.

IDENTIFY THE PIECES OF EVIDENCE OF SEAFLOOR SPREADING THEORY?

We can obtain some evidence for the seafloor spreading theory from molten magma, seafloor drills,
radiometric age and fossil age, and magnetic stripes, along with other references. For example, with
ocean mapping, molten material with such an elevated altitude just beyond the Atlantic ridge. The
molten mantle emerged as the result of convection currents inside the earth's interior. It begins to rise
through mid-ocean ridge, trying to spread side to side establish a new seafloor.

EXPLAIN MAGNETIC REVERSAL?

A magnetic polarity reversal would be a transformation in the duality of the Earth's magnetic field. It is a
shift in a planet's magnetic field that occurs when the gravitational north and gravitational south
locations are reversed. The method through which the north pole is converted to the south pole and
vise - versa. Moreover, throughout an excursion, the sector somehow doesn't reverse, but instead
regenerates using the same polarity, with the north wanting to remain as north and the south trying to
remain as south.
