CONTENTS
The parts given in this manual are arranged in grouping manner for easy identification. The index column lists numbers of major
& sub system, whereas the chapter column lists name of the major & sub systems. And page number column is for appropriate
pages for quick retrievals of a sub system.

PARTS ILLUSTRATIONS
All the parts in a sub system are exploded and identified with a reference number in a circle. The circled numbers are related
to numbers found under the column “Sl. No”. Certain sub systems which are not exploded have to be ordered as a whole.

PART NUMBER
This gives the unique part number of the particular spare part for ordering and procuring without any ambiguity. Part number
may be different for different machine serial numbers hence part number needs to be checked w.r.t machine serial number
before ordering.

□ The Part specified in the line above can be used instead of this part.

♦ This Part and the part specified in the line immediately above are interchangeable.

# This Part cannot be supplied as an individual part. It is supplied as an assembly.

PARTS DESCRIPTION AND QUANTITY

The names of all parts are listed under the column “DESCRIPTION”. The quantity used is listed under the column “QTY”. Under
the QTY column, “UQN” stands for “Unit Quantity as Needed”. That is, quantity of that particular spare part depends on the
assembly requirement.

M/C SERIAL NUMBER

It specifies the machine serial number against which the part number is mentioned.

ORDERING A PART
All orders for parts must show clearly the following information, to facilitate the order processing:

 Correct Part Number (specified against the machine serial number), from the list in column “PART NUMBER”
 Description and quantity required
 Machine Serial Number

3.1. Maintenance
The maintenance schedules given below
have been determined keeping certain site
conditions in view. However, the
maintenance schedules should be discussed
with the L&T- Service Engineer and a
comprehensive schedule should be worked
out depending upon the site condition and
equipment usage.

Following maintenance intervals are

WASTE MANAGEMENT

1. OIL, DIESEL, COOLANT & GREASE:

To prevent pollution, particularly in places where people or animals

are living, always follow the procedures given below:

 Never dump waste oil, coolant in a sewer system, river, lake or INCORRECT
such other locations

 Always put oil drained from your machine in containers. Never

drain oil directly onto the ground. Collect waste oil and send it to
authorized disposal agents or oil reconditioning plant.

 Follow appropriate laws and regulations while disposing of

harmful objects such as oil, coolant, solvent, used filters. Similarly
follow the above procedure for grease / oil sludge/ diesel sludge.

2. METALLIC WASTE:

 Collect and segregate metallic waste in to steel, aluminum, bronze

etc.

 Send them to re-melting shops or dispose as metallic scrap.

3. HAEMATITE CONCRETE:

 Counter weight at the end of its life can be broken and the
hematite portion can be used as filling debris for low-lying areas
