I have interacted with someone who have different culture
from me, they are my Muslim friends, we believe in God but different doctrines, we ate different foods, have different languages, beliefs and practices. although we have different takes on certain things because we are raised differently, we managed to find our middle ground, that is, the things we both took interest at and school, although we respect and try to understand each other due to our differing circumstances it is still different once you actually get along together, after we became close, I certainly felt that, and because of it, there we're times where I recall those things and told myself my should and could haves, that I should have shown more interest towards their culture and environment to make them feel more comfortable and accepted so that they can be much more open.
In general, I see those different from me as fascinating and
amusing. I show respect and try to be more understanding to them, I 'will' celebrate their difference from me if I genuinely find that thing to be positive and worth celebrating.
