A. UPS MODE LED: UPS mode is set to run PC load. UPS mode LED glows when
the unit is in UPS mode, blinks if it is in Equipment mode and off if it is in
Normal mode. By default unit will be in Normal mode. In order to change the
mode from NORMAL to UPS or to Equipment mode, press the front panel
ON/OFF switch for 5 seconds continuously until second beep sound occurs
(Not applicable when water topping reminder indication active).
B. MAINS ON LED: Glows steady when the mains is available within the
normal limits (90-290V in NORMAL mode, 140-290V in EQP mode and 180-
260V in UPS mode) and blinks when mains out of range / mains force cut due
to solar and off when mains not available (If Mains voltage goes below the
specified voltage range, i.e. Low cut condition - 2 blinks, If Mains voltage
goes above the specified voltage range, i.e. High cut condition - 3 blinks).
C. CHARGE LED: This will blinks when batteries are charging and Glows steady
when batteries are charged. During day time it will be OFF if 100% battery
charging through solar ( For Tubular battery selection - 3 blinks, for Flat Plate
battery selection - 2 blinks & for Local battery selection - 1 blink).
D. BACKUP LED: This LED will glow steady when the UPS is in backup mode
due to mains failure or out of range or mains force cut stage when solar is
available and power saver mode is selected.
E. LOW BATT LED: Blinks during low battery warning and glows steady after
low battery shutdown with buzzer indication.
F. OVERLOAD LED: Blinks when the loading is above it’s specified capacity
and blinks with continuous buzzer after overload shutdown. Glows steady
after short circuit in output side. After 5 times of retrying overload protection
shutdown will happen. Again press ON/OFF switch to RESET/ turn ON the
product. It is advisable that connected loads in bypass should not be more
than the rated capacity of UPS.
G. SOLAR LED: Blinks when charging, glows after full charge and off when
solar is not available.
H. ON/OFF SWITCH: This switch can be used to make the unit ON/OFF and
this can be done by pressing the switch continuously for 1 second until a
beep sound occurs. BACKUP LED will be OFF when the unit is in OFF mode. If
theunit is in OFF mode, the load connected at the output will not work in the
event of mains failure, however charging will continue if mains is in normal
limit. The switch also works as a reset in an event of overload & low battery
shutdown. When the switch is in ON condition the switch glows and it will not
glow if the switch is OFF. This switch can be used for Normal, UPS and
Equipment mode selection. By default unit will be in normal mode. In order
to change the mode from Normal to UPS or from UPS to Equipment mode or
from Equipment to Normal mode press and hold the switch continuously for
5 seconds until second beep occurs. UPS mode LED glows when the unit is in
UPS mode, blinks when it is in Equipment mode and off if it is in normal
mode. Normal, UPS and Equipment mode can be selected by using APP also.
For this user has to go switch settings portion in the APP where user can
change the mode by touching the mode selected option.
LED Indications for some of the fault status of product is given below.

1. MAINS RCB: This is connected in line with the MAINS input to UPS. This will
trip to disconnect the mains to save the product in case of short circuit at load
side or excess overload in mains mode. It is recommended to connect rated
capacity load through UPS to avoid unnecessary RCB tripping.
2. OUTPUT SOCKET: This is provided for connecting the loads that will run
through the UPS while power is not available. It is recommended to use ISI
marked plug on this socket.
3. POWER SAVER MAX/NORMAL SWITCH : This system is equipped with
a selection switch (power saver) on back panel to utilize the available solar
power as per user requirement. On Max position system will cut the grid
power and connected load will run on available excess solar power. In
NORMAL position solar power will be used to charge the battery. Maximum
power saver position is recommended to installation having lesser power cut
or in winter. Normal power saver position is recommended to the installation
having longer power cuts. By keeping power saver switch in Max position
user can select Night mode using App. This mode allows user to discharge
the battery during night time there by utilize the unit saved through solar.
4. HC & NC SELECTION SWITCH: This can be used to select the charging
current of UPS. Keep the switch in HC when using 135-230Ah battery and in
NC when using 80-120Ah battery. It is recommended to keep the switch in
NC for local battery.
5. TUB/FP/LOCAL SELECTION SWITCH: This is battery selection mode. If
the battery used is tubular type, select TUB (Tubular) mode. If the battery
used is flat plate type, then select FP (Flat Plate)mode. If the battery used is
any Local make, select LOCAL mode for optimum performance. This setting
is very critical and needs to be done within 30 minutes of installation. After
that the setting cannot be done without disconnecting the battery. Wrong
setting can deteriorate the UPS backup and can even cause damage to
battery.
6. MAINS LEAD: This is used to connect input mains supply to the UPS. Ensure
earthing drop between Input ‘Neutral’ and ‘Earth’ below 1V to avoid electric
shock due to earth leakage.
7. POSITIVE BATTERY WIRE: Connect the positive battery wire (red) of UPS
to positive terminal of battery.
8. NEGATIVE BATTERY LEAD: Connect the negative battery wire (Black) of UPS
to negative terminal of Battery.
9. SOLAR + & SOLAR - : This is provided for connecting solar panel to UPS. The
panel should be with in the recommended capacity. During installation, the
polarity of panel should be correct. Connect the +ve terminal (Red wire) of panel
to SOLAR + and -ve terminal (Black wire) of panel to SOLAR - of the UPS.
