Controversial Topic
Clearly, Abortion is the most controversial issue having no grounds of agreement among two polar aspects. The argument is life and death
though the uncertainty of complication makes it difficult. Since abortion is a very delicate topic, I don't think we are the ones that can
decide whether the person that a woman gives birth to should live or die. Abortion is a life or death matter, having equal supporters on
both sides.

Abortion for rape is another controversial topic. When babies born of this act, they are obviously not intended since the sexual act is
forced. Many people even say killing these babies is okay but is it? Pro-life is a group that goes against abortion. They claim human life
begins at conception. They believe the unborn deserve life. Even for rape, they believe the child shouldn’t be punished for a wrong act.
Although Abortion is legal in the US, Pro-Lifers hope to make an amendment. They also support adoption. A strong base for the Pro-Life
group is religion. Most of the Pro-Lifers are Christian and statistics show that the less religious a person is, the more likely they are to be
Pro-Choice

Pro-Choice is another group that believes only women have the freedom to choose abortion. This group believes abortion is a personally
protected choice. They think while abortion is illegal, it will increase in “back alley” abortions, or self abortions or worse, the mother may kill
the baby, as some young mothers have. They think kids should be wanted and reducing unwanted children will lower child abuse. They
also believe the world is way overpopulated. But since when does a person’s life depend on the amount of people in the world?
Most people avoid talking about death at all costs. But not Julie McFadden, a California hospice nurse
who has gone viral on TikTok for talking about just what happens at the end of life.

McFadden, maybe better known as Hospice Nurse Julie on Tiktok and Twitter, started making videos on
TikTok about six months ago after her nieces introduced her to the platform.

One of those videos discusses a phenomenon dubbed "The Rally." Hospice patients will suddenly seem
like they're getting better – many resume eating, some start walking again and others will talk or laugh.

The burst of energy is short lived, however. Many patients die within hours or days of "The Rally."
Whether this could happen is hard to predict.

"It happens to probably a third of our hospice patients," McFadden says in a video. "So much so that we
try to educate the family about this before this happens so it doesn't devastate them when they suddenly
pass after doing so well for a few days."
