main polymers of lignocellulosic biomass
May 11, 2020
Dear Processor,
I am student of M.Sc. (Hons.) in Food Technology and got 3.90/4.00 CGPA in 3 rd semester from
National Institute of Food Science & Technology, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad,
Pakistan. Previously I did my BS (Hons.) in Food Science and Nutrition (Specialization in Food
Science and Technology) and got 3.83/4.00 CGPA during my studies from Govt. College
University Faisalabad, Pakistan.
My 6-month’s research project “Preparation and Quality Estimation of Jambolan (Syzygium
cumini) Fortified Yogurt” is near to completion. This research project was planned by University
of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan.

I have taken courses of Biochemistry, Food Carbohydrates Chemistry and Technology, Food
Chemistry, Food Biotechnology, Food process engineering. I also have strong grip on analytical
work related to high performance liquid chromatography and spectroscopy. I have used proteases
i.e. papain and bromelain for meat tenderization exploiting the wastes of papaya and pineapple.
While working in Dairy Laboratory, I modified carbohydrates through fermentation and
developed fortified fermented food, determined its Biochemistry and Bioactivity. Now, I am
strongly willing to investigate the carbohydrate’s enzymatic modification for preserving the
natural resources and reducing pollution which has become the need of the existing environment.
Therefore, I would like to accept this challenge to learn kneely in such a group of researchers
the worth of strategies designed for the formation of biomolecules utilizing eco-friendly sources.
My background and skills in laboratory techniques will prove to be an effective match
corresponding to your research project.

Working in Food Laboratory, I successfully applied my research skills and maintained the
laboratory. I participated in planning experiments and evaluating test results, as well as in
monitoring equipment performance and tracking maintenance schedules. I was responsible for
the proper running of the instruments.

I would be grateful for the opportunity to speak with you in person regarding my qualifications
for this position; please let me know if I can provide you with any additional information.

Sincerely,

Farhan Ali
