How to Calibrate Pressure Transducer 2014

For Jockey IPD+ Controller

Important notes before proceeding:

 The pressure transducer is pressure calibrated with at factory prior to controller

shipment, and it is not necessary to perform any further field calibration.

 However if a pressure transducer field recalibration is needed due to a pressure

transducer replacement or a pressure transducer reading out of calibration, it is
very important to calibrate the unit with a high accurate gauge.

 A high accurate reference gauge must be connected to the system where it is

representative to the pressure applied to the pressure transducer.

Follow these steps below to recalibrate the pressure:

Press on “OK” button until you see “Cu.Ou” on the screen

Press on “UP” and “DOWN” button at the same time until you see “C.LO” on the
screen

Press on “OK” button

A lowest pressure (i.e. 0 psi) must be applied to the system pressure sensing line
(depressurize); the readout of the reference sensing line gauge must be entered
into the screen.

Enter 0 as value (by using “UP”/“DOWN” buttons)

Press on “OK” button

Press on “RIGHT” button (You must see “C.Hi” on the screen)

Press on “OK” button

A maximum pressure must be applied to the system pressure sensing line
(pressurize); the readout of the reference sensing line gauge must be entered in

Enter the high pressure value (by using “UP”/“DOWN” buttons)

Press on “OK” button (then the screen shows C.Hi)

Press on “POWER” button until the power light becomes green to exit the
configuration mode.

The pressure calibration procedure can be repeated if the pressure readouts are
satisfied.
