NUGGETS FOR DAILY WALK WITH JESUS

Bible Text:

Luke 9:23 - And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and,
take up his cross daily, and follow me.

INTRODUCTION

In this teaching, I will be sharing lessons from following Jesus Christ. Acts 17:28 - For in him
we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For
we are also his offspring.

It is also useful and relevant because in him we live (life/breath/wake up) and move
(repositioning/changing location) and have our being (becoming, achieving).

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you
the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him (know him better) by and by.

Lessons:

1) YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN! John 3:1-21 – John preached it. Jesus preached it.
This is what gets us into the fold. This is what gives you the right to use his name and
enjoy all the benefits. Acting and pretending is impotent. Sons of Sceva in Acts
19:13-15. Delay is a waste. You can’t be neutral. The adversary is busy and
strategizing (John 10:10). Submit to God. Resist the devil (James 4:7). The quicker you
settle with him, the quicker things settle for you.

2) BEFORE YOU PANIC, ALWAYS (FIRST) REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE A CHILD OF
GOD AND HE IS A COVENANT KEEPER – Psalm 89:34 - . My covenant will I not
break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Isa 55:8-9 – His thoughts and
ways are different from ours. Jer 29:11 - His thoughts towards us are good and not of
evil. EXPERIENCE: Car locked with key. SONG: You are too faithful to fail me. This
knowledge reduces health challenges.

Remember that Jesus Christ is Lord (even in the storms), Jesus Christ is with us.
So, always carry him along. He created the terrain. You are not his first project! Your
 project and personality is not new to him. He’s been managing people since day 1.
Pray before you visit any hospital.

3) EXCEPT THE LORD BUILDS THE HOUSE WE BUILD IN VAIN. Psalm 127:1 – 2 - The
wealth we are gathering is a waste. Houses? Wealth, Projects. Be wise! Remember

4) Give and it shall be given. Giving is the only way outside of poverty. It’s only a fool that
jokes with tithe. The way out of poverty is to give. Luke 6:38

5) Mark 6:4-6 A prophet won’t be honored in his place. Don’t be one of those. It pays to
respect spiritual authorities, have them around you and be accountable.

6) Everything God said you should not do is for your own good.

7) Don’t forget to speak even when you are going through hurt.

8) 1 Tim 6:6-10 – Godliness with contentment. Billionaire or millionaire are status not set
by God. No specific division in heaven. No one goes with anything. Don’t over-
pressure yourself. God did not promise anyone to be a billionaire or millionaire.

9) Matth 7:1 – Do not judge a book by its cover.

10) Psalm 45:7 – Because thou has loved Holiness pays everyone.

11) Gratitude! Take note. Keep your testimonies somewhere.

12) There are plenty of things that we don’t know. Stay humble to learn.

13) There is God and he does marvelous things! Testimonies encourage you! He blocks
holes in the heart, he saves people from sin, he fixes people, he removes bad
attitudes, he raises people, There are diseases; He opens doors in multiple ways, heal
completely. Bring the dad back to life, make women fruitful, he backs up his word with
manifestations. SONG: Ah ehh! This kind God another one no dey. I’m serving a God
of miracles.

14) Haggai 2:9 The glory of the latter shall be greater than the former! Your best is yet to
come. You can forget the former and the past.

The more you believe his word, the more it works for you. Numbers 23:19
