Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, many shipping companies and airlines have restricted their
services. In some cases, entire services have been completely discontinued. We foresee potential
complications with customs clearance procedures, transportation delays and port congestion. These
complications may cause extra port charges or other unpredictable delays and costs. Santa Fe
Relocation reserves the right to adjust our quotation or pass on any consequential costs for delays in
transit or cancellation or additional fees arising from the pandemic which is a force majeure situation
and outside our control. We are continually monitoring the situation and are intent on keeping our
clients fully updated as the changes happen.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to Ocean Freight Equipment and Container Scarcity @ export hubs and
changes in freight flows resulting from the Coronavirus pandemic, General Rate Increases (GRI)
potentially to be expected at the point of actual vessel booking (subject to availability of equipment
and space). Updates will be provided as soon as available.

SHIPMENT PROTECTION

For your own peace of mind, Santa Fe recommends that you enroll in our shipment protection. The shipment
protection fee is 3.5% of the total declared value. The minimum charge is HK$ 1,000.00.

You may value your possessions using one of two methods. First, provide an item-by-item listing using
“replacement” cost for values keeping in mind all items must be included. Second, use the “lump sum”
method that uses the volume of your goods as the basis for valuation. Details on both methods are found in
our brochure and also on our website (https://www.santaferelo.com/en/services/shipment-protection/).

Our shipment protection carries no deductible in the event of a claim and automatically includes free “Mold
and Mildew coverage”, “Pairs & Sets coverage”, and “Mechanical Derangement”. The superior
shipment protection is a result of our past performance.

Note: Should your household goods require storage longer than 30 days at origin or 30 days at destination, in
addition to the storage charges, the cost to extend the protection coverage will be 0.5% of the declared value
per month or part thereof.

Lump Sum Transit Coverage
Itemized Transit Coverage
All items based on the volume of your shipment and is the simplest option. Each
cubic meter is given a minimum value of EUR 2,500. Added to this is the total value of
each item worth EUR 1500 or more. The final total is applied to 3.50% to calculate the
premium cost. The minimum premium per policy is HK$1,000.

DOOR-TO-DOOR SERVICES

A highly experienced crew will pack all items using a vast array of specialty packing materials. The shipment
will be dispatched to the destination safely and expediently utilizing the leading carriers. Santa Fe will prepay
the freight charges.

Upon arrival, Santa Fe’s destination team will contact you and arrange customs clearance and delivery. Our
quotation includes normal delivery, fully unpack all furniture and place them according to your instructions. All
packing debris will be removed from the premises (on the day of the move). Exact placement of small items,
i.e. books, glassware, ornaments, clothing and so on is not included however these items will be unpacked
and placed on a flat surface (countertop or tabletop or bed). At destination, any extra handling (i.e. elevator,
stairs or difficult access) may cost extra.

Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed and are subject to sailing schedules and customs clearance. Additional
charges such as storage and / or demurrage may be incurred at destination if your shipment is available for
delivery but is delayed at your request. Unanticipated delays may also incur demurrage charges which
may include but is not limited to port / customs strikes, additional inspections and port congestion.

If storage at destination is required, we will ensure that your possessions are stored in a fully enclosed area
and that they are handled with the utmost care. Any storage at destination may be subject to additional
charges.

REMARKS

1. This quotation excludes: Weekend and holiday delivery, delivery outside of normal office hours, transit
and storage protection coverage, handyman assembly of IKEA or similar type furniture, delivery above 1st
floor, storage at origin or destination, customs taxes / duties, customs inspection fees, demurrage and
unanticipated extra handling (stair carry, shuttle, elevator carry) unless specified above.
2. Our quotation is based on current exchange rates. Should there be a major fluctuation, we reserve the
right to revise our quotation accordingly until full payment is received.
3. Freight rates may be subject to change without notice. Our quotation is based on current ocean / air
freight rates.
4. Final charges for the consignment will be based on the actual measurement of the shipment after packing
and crating has been completed.
5. Quotation includes delivery within a 30 mile (50 km) radius from the destination, unless specified.
6. Quotation is valid for 30 days from date of issue. Our quotation is based on the estimated volume and
packing date(s) mentioned above; any change in volume and or packing date(s) may result in a
rate adjustment.
7. Terms of Payment: All charges must be settled before shipping. If full payment is not received within the
agreed payment terms, Santa Fe reserves the right to charge interest calculated at 5% above the
Barclays Bank base rate in force from time to time in the currency in which the price is denominated in our
quotation.
8. All transactions are subject to the Household Goods Services Terms & Conditions of Santa Fe Transport
International Ltd., as stated on the “Acceptance Form” or can be obtained upon request at any time.
