What is MSW charging?

• 根據「污染者自付」原則，對棄置的垃圾按量收費。
In line with the "polluter-pays" principle, charges will be based on the quantity of waste disposed of.

• 垃圾收費包括：

家居垃圾 工商業垃圾
Domestic Waste Commercial & Industrial Waste
住宅及公共機構日常所產生的垃圾 商店、食肆、酒店、辦公室、私人屋苑街市及
Daily waste disposed of by households and 所有工業活動產生的垃圾
institutional premises Waste generated from shops, restaurants,
hotels, offices, markets in private housing
estates and all commercial and industrial
activities
• 並不包括：建築廢物、化學廢物及醫療廢物
Does not include: construction waste, chemical waste and clinical waste

Members of public are required to wrap their waste properly in designated bag or affix a designated label to it before
disposing of it in the following enforcement points
