Group outline
1. Intro

In today's fast-paced world, time management is considered to be one of the

most essential skills that lead to success. Poor time management can have
negative consequences such as reduced productivity and an adverse impact
on one's health. This essay will explore the challenges associated with poor
time management, as well as providing possible solutions to tackle this issue.

2. Body:

- Problem 1: Health problems

Poor time management may cause numerous negative effects and one of the
noticeable impacts is burnout. Burnout happens when you are stressed
because there is not enough time left to complete any tasks, which is a
harmful mental illness.
Poor time management may also lead to an imbalanced biological clock since
more time is wasted and less time is used to relax, eat or sleep. Even some
people choose to skip meals so they can finish work on time.
- Problem 2: Productivity problems
Poor time management obviously leads to a decrease in productivity since
there would be less time to complete tasks and as a consequence, the results
would not be at the highest quality.
Not only the quality but the quantity of completed tasks also decline. Poor
time management makes it hard to finish work on time so there may still be
some work left and through many times, the incomplete tasks stack up while
the finished ones only take up a small part.

14
Group outline
- Solution 1:
However, there are still possible solutions for these problems.
Making a to-do list everyday may help us stick to the schedule
and mention to us how many and what tasks need to be
completed. It also helps us to prioritize from the most crucial
work to the least so it is impossible to miss any deadlines or
finish any work late.

- Solution 2:
Poor time management can be changed slowly and giving up
bad habits is the first step. Procrastinating and multitasking
are two actions that need to be eliminated. While
procrastinating leads to the lack of time to complete tasks,
multitasking could make the quality of the work decrease

3. Conclusion
In conclusion, poor time management can have significant
impacts on various aspects of our lives. The consequences are
poor work performance and multiple health related issues. To
address poor time management, individuals should prioritize
self-care,establish boundaries and engage in stress-reducing
activities.

I - Causes:
- Plastic waste from tourists:
+ Plastic waste can be non-reusable
utensils from restaurants along the coast, it
could also be the water bottles and packages
visitors left after finishing their sunbathe on the
beach.
+ Single-use plastics such as water
bottles or zip-lock bags are frequently used by
tourists. These items are convenient for
travelers, however, if they are not properly
managed, they will pile up into a mountain of
trash and pose a detrimental effect on marine
creatures.
+ Tourists may not be fully aware of
the environmental impact of their actions,

prioritized. A lack of awareness can lead to
irresponsible disposal practice

commercial importance have been recorded to
ingest plastic debris → lead to extinction of varied
species or some on the verge of extinction

on marine life are dire and far-

starvation to entanglement and
ingestion, the effects of plastic on our
oceans are devastating. But it's not too
late to make a difference. We can all
play a part in reducing our use of single-

supporting initiatives that aim to clean
up our oceans. It's time to act now,
before it's too late for our oceans and
the creatures that call them home. Let's

Self reflection
I have never done anything like this
listening portfolio before, therefore, I was
hindered by many difficulties in the
process of completing this. However,
hardships are not the only thing I
experienced from this writing portfolio,
besides, I have also learned numerous
useful skills. There are many unforgettable
memories in the period I finish this writing
portfolio and it would be a shame if I don’t
mention the novelties I experienced. The
first difficulty is to summarize the outlines,
which includes both the group outlines and
the language banks. The positive side of
this is that I gained my concluding skills,
however, this task is really time-consuming
and requires meticulous adjustments.

46
Self reflection
Not only the outlines, the peer check essays
also came as a challenge to me. I had to
finish an essay normally, then I had to
exchange my draft with a peer and we
checked each other’s drafts. Then I will
have to fill in the sheet which the teacher
gave me, each category is rated in a specific
scale and I must provide the evidence of
each category. I also have to correct
grammar, word order, spelling,...mistakes.
However, this is just my first project so I
hope that in my future projects, I will be
able to present a better version of it with
my advanced skills and updated
knowledge.
