• Primary Routes of Exposure: Skin, Eyes, and Respiratory tract.

• Health Hazard Warnings: CAUTION! May cause slight eye and skin irritation. Prolonged or
repeated overexposure to dusts may cause upper respiratory tract irritation. Dusts at sufficient
concentrations can form explosive mixtures with air.
• Inhalation: Prolonged or repeated overexposure to dusts may cause upper respiratory tract
irritation.
• Skin Contact: Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause slight skin irritation.
• Eye Contact: Contact with eyes can cause slight irritation.
Ingestion: May cause gastrointestinal irritation in the form of nausea and vomiting

SECTION 4-FIRST AID MEASURES

Eyes: Check for and remove any contact lenses. In case of contact, immediately
flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Cold water may be used. Warm
water must be used. Get medical attention

SECTION 5-FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

❖ Flash Point: No data available Auto Ignition: No data available

❖ Explosive Limits; UEL/LEL: In sufficient concentrations, dusts can form potentiallyexplosive
mixtures in air.
❖ Extinguishing Agents: Use water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or foamextinguishing
agents.
❖ Fire & Explosion Hazards: As in any fire, prevent human exposure to fire, smoke, fumes or products
of combustion. Firefighters should wear recommended exposure control equipment including a self-
contained breathing apparatus. Avoid generatingdusts. Cool containers with water that are exposed to
flames. Bond and ground equipment when transferring material to prevent static build up.
❖ Hazardous Combustion Products: Thermal decomposition produces oxides ofcarbon and sulfur.

SECTION 6-ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Small Spill Use appropriate tools to put the spilled solid in a convenient waste disposal container. If
necessary: Neutralize the residue with a dilute solution of sodium carbonate. Finish cleaning by
spreading water on the contaminated surface and dispose of according to local and regional
authority requirements.

Large Spill Use a shovel to put the material into a convenient waste disposal container. Neutralize the
residue with a dilute solution of sodium carbonate. Finish cleaning by spreading water on the
contaminated surface and allow to evacuate through the sanitary system.

SECTION 7-HANDLING AND STORAGE

Handling: Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid contact with eyes.Avoid ingestion.

Storage: Keep container tightly closed. Keep container in a cool, well-ventilated area.

SECTION 8-EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

Engineering Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to keep airborne
Controls: levels below recommended exposure limits. If user operations generate dust, fume or mist, use
ventilation to keep exposure to airborne contaminants below the exposure limit.

Personal Eye protection: Use splash goggles.

Protective Skin Protection: Use full suit, Lab coat, Boots, Dust respirator. Be sure to use an
