CERTIFICATE OF PC2 FUNCTION

(PRESSURE COMPENSATING DRIPLINE)

The dripline consists of l 6mm/43mil = I .1 mm (± I 0% according to ISO 9261) and in line pressure
compensating, self-flushing type, emitters (drippers) being factory inserted and welded to the inside
of the tube wall, as an integral part of the tubing assembly.

The dripline is manufactured from polyethylene, incorporating carbon black and antioxidants in an
amount sufficient to protect the pipe from UV radiation. The dripline has 4.5 bars maximum working
pressure.

The driplines are produced, per international standard ISO 9261 and their nominal pressure range is
defined from 0.5 bar to 4.0 bars.

The emitters are pressure compensating, continuously self-cleaning, integral cylindrical type and can
independently regulate discharge rates.

There is a silicone membrane (injected silicone diaphragm), incorporated to the dripper, which is op­
erating as regulatory valve over a water passage. Like that the flow is always regulated in different
pressure levels.

With a manufacture coefficient of variability (CV= max 0.05), the drippers have a wide filtration area
which improves resistance in clogging and are made from virgin material based on polyethylene with
UV protection.

The flow path design of the emitters insures constant turbulent flow of water inside the labyrinth
passages. The drippers by design have a labyrinth with wide water passages, large deep and wide cross
section and excellent clogging resistance.

The dripper flow is not affected by temperature up to 60-degree C0 •

EEME guarantees for products with wall thickness of 33 mil and above, for defects in materials and
workmanship for 5 years and against environmental stress cracking for 7 years if installed above
ground and for 10 years if installed subsurface.
