Bautista at idinisenyo pagkatapos ni St. Michael the Archangel.

Quezon memorial circle

>> The Quezon Memorial Shrine at the center of the Quezon Memorial Circle is the most prominent
landmark in the city. Steeped in history and heritage, the park was first envisioned in 1941 to honor the
legacy of President Manuel Luis Quezon, the first president of the Philippine Commonwealth under
American rule.
Unfortunately, these plans were scuttled because of World War II, when Japan invaded the Philippines.
It would be much later in 1950 when President Elpidio Quirino would revive the plans to erect a
memorial for Quezon. In 1951, he launched a nationwide contest for designing the memorial.

Toledo, who is the special protector of the town of Tanay.

During a big war called the Philippine Revolution, the church became a safe place for Filipino soldiers
fighting for their country. It was a very important place for the people in the town and witnessed many
important events.

constructed a small church in response. Another notable event involved a dead infant being revived
upon being placed on the church's altar. Over time, stories of miraculous healings spread, making Our
Lady of Manaoag a patroness for the sick and those in need.

The church endured bombings during World War II and survived an earthquake in 1982. A bomb
allegedly pierced the church's roof but miraculously failed to detonate. In 2014, it was granted the title
of Minor Basilica by Pope Francis, and the following year, it was declared a National Cultural Treasure by
