ways on how to use them positively and write these on the space provided.
ICT-RELATED RESOURCES/ HOW TO POSITIVELY USE IT
MATERIALS
Facebook Use Facebook in a positive way as we impact
each other by our actions on this social
media network. We can share pleasant
thoughts or energy by engaging in friendly
activities on the site. We can also have the
potential to promote compassion, whether it
be that we post an inspirational phrase, give
Facebook friends cheerful comments, or
celebrate their accomplishments.
Applications (in phones, We can use applications in phones and
computers, etc.) computer in positive ways like for examples,
the YouTube App where we can watch
movies, documentations and facts about
numerous activities like cooking, dancing,
music or even learning. Apart from that, we
can also use it to do particular courses online
to help us learn more and enhance our
knowledge. And if we are interested in
photography, you can click images of
numerous objects and share them on social
media, like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
and etc. Above all, we can also use it to
engage oneself on social networks but make
sure that we always think before we click or
post something.
Online Research Repositories We can use online research repositories in a
positive way by ensuring that the site we
open and used in research are reliable to
avoid false information. We should also keep
a detailed record of sites we visit and use
because there are lots of phishing websites
made to fool someone into believing that it is
legitimate where it can cause hacking of your
phones and computers or even your social
media platforms.
Blogs The main purpose of blog is to write for our
readers and not for ourselves, just like what
I have read online,” blogs doesn’t t exist
without readers.” So, Blogs can be use in
positive ways when we educate our readers
with our knowledge and expertise to make
sense of the world and to improve their lives.
Videos from the Internet We can use positively those videos on
internet by watching videos that can help us
enhance our knowledge and skills. For
example, we can watch educational videos
about what we don’t yet know and if we are
curious about a lot of things. Just like what I
have mentioned, we can also watch videos
about cooking, dancing, singing that help us
to enhance our skills about this.
CLASSROOM OBSERVATION

FOCUS OF OBSERVATION: ON PROVIDING TIMELY, ACCURATE AND CONSTRUCTIVE

FEEDBACK TO IMPROVE LEARNER PERFORMANCE OBSERVATION SHEET

1. What are the strategies used by the teacher in providing feedback?

As I observed, teacher Rebecca provided encouraging feedback to her students that

can encourage them to think through out their learning. She applied a positive and
encouraging tone of voice that helps the students to not be afraid of answering the
questions. Teacher Rebecca also assure that the students understand the feedback she
gave where she also asked open ended questions where she can get a lot of information
about the understanding and capability of the learners. As the discussion go by, she
always guides her students when answering her questions and even it is wrong, she still
humble accept it and correct her student in a good way.

2. What are the skills you observed that will help the learner performance?

The skills I observed with teacher Rebecca that help her learner’s performance is that
she has a long patience when it comes to teaching where she knows how to handle her
students even though they are hyper and loud. She also makes sure that everyone of her
students is belong and connected in the discussion where she used them as an example
while she is discussing. She also used real objects and examples that catches the
attention of the learners that create a positive, productive and safe learning classroom
environment.

3. If you were the teacher, what strategies are you going to use in providing
feedback to help the learners improve their performance?

If I were a teacher, I want to established a strategy like what ma’am Rebecca did in
the observation. When giving feedback, it should be descriptive feedback so that my
students will understand it clearly and give them time and opportunity to respond to it. I
will ensure that the feedback I am giving to my students will help them in progress of
their learnings and most importantly their performances. The feedback should be positive
first before the negative one so that we can focus more on what should correct on their
skills.
