Main purpose and scope of application 1.1 The main pupose THRS emergency escape breathing device is designed according to SOLAS S code chapter III-2.2,IMO MSC/Cire.849"Guidelines for the performance, location use and maintenance”.EN 1146(2005),which is self- 2000 amendments, FS compressed-air emergency escape breathing device. The anti-flame hood can cover the head,neck and shoulder,also with a clear and bright observation window.It can be operate easily just open the cylinder valve on the hood,without any other additional actions.Can provide constant air uninterrupted for 10 minutes or more than 15 minutes, mainly used in ships, high-rise bulidings, business premises, chemical and transportation sectors,and in poisonous and harmful,smog,lack of oxygen environment,and for personnel to urgent escape. 1.2 Scope The device is a high-performance breathing protection equipment for individual. 2. Working principle Open the cylinder valve,the compressed air flows in a pressure reduce valve, after its pressure is reduced to 0.5 Mpa and its flow is regulated to over 35L/min by the reducer,the air is carried to a hood for breathing by means of a medium pressure hose,there is a pressure gauge on the cylinder to indicate the cylinder pressure,when checking.There is a exhalation valve on the hood,it can exhaust the exhaled gas by the user out of the hood,bacause the air pressure in the hood is higher than the environment pressure,the environment air can not enter into the hood. 4. Structure note 5.1 Cylinder Alloy steel seamless gas cylinder, with a capacity of 2L or 3L two types,both straight thread M18x1.5,in line with the relevant provisions of the compressed air cylinder. 5.2 Pressure reducer It is used for reducing the high pressure from the cylinder turn into 0.6~0.9Mpa medium pressure and regulating the output airfolw to over 35L/min for breathing. 5.3 Air supply hose It is used for carrying the reduced pressure air to a hood.Tile rotary joins at both ends ensure that tile head can be free to prevent entan- glement. 5.4 Supply valve Tile breathing part of the valve is integrated with positive pressure breathing part,and tile moving parts do not need to be adjusted, it can ensure high performance and long life. 5.5 Hood Made of fire-retardant PU-coated maerials.And tile three-side flat windows provide the formation of a broad field of vision around,and at the same time,with TPU sealing collar.Resistant neck seal mouth made of synthetic rubber.Buit-in nose and mouth mask design can prevent the window from dew. 5.6 Hanging bag To use eye-catching orange PVC-composite material,and with sm- ooth surface.Through the windows, you can see the air capacity watch. -10-® x ga | BOON ae JIAXING RONGSHENG 6. Usage method 6.1 Put tile belt of the hanging bag to hang on your neck (or handing or shouldering),and place it on your chest,appropriate adjustment strap. 6.2 Left hand hold onto hanging bag,right hand pull backpack panel.Open bag cover and take out tile hood, THRS constant-flow air resource will automati- cally open with the backsack boare’s being opened.(The quick air release bolt mounted on a pressure reducer is connected through a plastic bolt and bag cover, and when you open tile bag,plastic bolt is aslo pulled,marking the pressure reducer opened). 6.3 When air flow is through,wear tile helmet shield on your head form up to down,so that the nose and mouth maskat your face side,untill adjusted to comfortable. 6.4 Refer escape sketch map(Follows) Caution:It should be avoided that the hood is taked out of the bag with help of the hose with force. -ll- ® R wa| BROS ER TAXING RONGSHENG 7. Precaution 7.1 Regularly check that pressure gauge and make sure the valve is not less than 200bar,once it lack of vitality should be inflated timely. 7.2 Air cylinder should be hydraulically tested after three years(test pressure must not be lower than 1.5 times of the designed pressing),only when the results is qualified,it can continue to be used. 7.3 Heavy weight pressing,high temperature baking, very cold temperature or high sun exposure should be avoided. 7.4 Product is valid for 15 years. 8. Maintemance 8.1 After being used, it must be cleaned, when the relief valve and the cylinder aren’t allowed to be immersed in any cleaning water.(The masks, hanging bag and other exposed surfaces shall be cleaned by using a clean and soft cloth with warm water,and the supply valve can be removed from the helmet shield for dry treatment. The inner mask shall be cleaned with moisture-absorption cloth). 8.2 Afier being cleaned,the hood should be folded and put into the hanging bag.If any damage to the helmet shield is found.Replace it immediately. Caution:No putting a folded moist hood in the bag,otherwise it will lead to mildew and rot of the hood. -12-R 9.
