Nov 15 Finals begin

The pacing may vary in the last few weeks depending on the class and the
material. Quizzes are tentatively scheduled each week when no test is scheduled. The
hourly exams will deal with the material in the immediately preceding weeks, but the
final exam and the final reviews will include the whole course.

Homework is due as shown in the MP calendar. The entry code is

RUTHERFORD1F21. I will use Moodle to display this schedule, formula sheets for the
exams and occasional announcements.

Every test will include an attached formula sheet. You may bring a laptop and
one sheet of notes / formulas to any test EXCEPT the final, where they are not allowed.

Grading is based on four 1-hour tests (best 3 of 4, 50%), the final test (25%),
homework and quizzes (10%), and the lab work (15%). You must pass the lab to pass the
course.
