“A Comparative Study Of The Effects Of Organic And In Organic Fertilizer On Nutritional
Composition Of Pechay”

Abstract:
This study compares the effect of Organic Fertilizer and In-Organic Fertilizer on the
growth performance of pechay in 2 treatments. The study conducted for 30 days was performed
on a randomized design. The data gathered were analyzed looking the growth of pechay to
determine the differences among the growth performances of pechay based on height, leaf width,
no. of leaves weight, and root length. The result present the physio – chemical analysis in
organic and organic fertilizers. Regarding the growth performances of pechay, T5 obtained the
highest plant height – 108.27 cm and leaf with – 112.07 cm, which were significantly higher than
T2 using 1F. the highest weight gain was obtained by T6, which was significantly higher than the
other treatments followed by T5, but both comparable to sample of CIF, while T3 obtained the
longest root length. Thus, the application of 60% to 80% organic yields comparable results with
in organic fertilizer. Hence, such application is recommended for community organic farming.
