III. PROCEDURE:

A. Preparatory Activity:
1. Song:

B. Developmental Activities:
1. Presentation:
Show a picture of a toilet bowl.

- Where can you find it, children?
- Do you know what is its name?
- Which of these do you use at home?
- We can find it inside the bathroom/ toilet.
- It is a toilet bowl.
- We use the toilet bowl at the left. We flush it
using a pail of water.
- We use the toilet bowl at the right side. We
just push the button to flush it.

- Any kind of toilet bowl you use at home or at

school, we must always keep it clean.

- What is toileting? How are we going to use the

toilet? What are the ways in proper toileting?
 2. Development of the lesson:

Toileting is to get rid of bodily waste and

then, flushed with water.
- How are we going to do that?

(Show a picture of a boy/girl urinating at the

toilet.)

- What does the boy do?

- How about the girl?
- This is the proper way of boy/girl urinating on
the toilet bowl.
- What should they do after urinating?
- The boy is urinating because he is standing.
- The girl is sitting on the toilet bowl while
urinating.

- Yes, very good! - They should pull up first their underwear and

- Did you enjoy working with your classmates?

Remember, children, that cooperation with
your classmates will make the work easily done.

D. Generalization:
- What is toileting?
- If you are a boy, how are you going to
urinate/pee/wee? How about the girl?
- It is getting rid of body waste and flushed it
with water.
- The boy will stand.
- The girl will sit on the toilet seat.

- How are you going to relieve your bowel? - The boy/girl will sit on the toilet seat, so that
the bowel/poop will move out of your body
easily.

E. Application:
Wash Your Bottom
Direction: With the use of a wet, pair of
balloon (as bottom), tied at the back of pupil’s
waist, dip it on a poop (pieces of tiny paper) and
wash or wipe the balloon to get rid of the poop.
IV. EVALUATION:
Direction: Listen as the teacher reads the procedure. Paste the picture where it belongs.

Flush toilet.

V. Assignment:
 With the help of the parent/ guardian let the child do the activity. Record your
