I. OBJECTIVE:
The learner demonstrates and understand proper way washing hands
with soap and water before and after eating independently.
II. SUBJECT MATTER
Washing of hands with soap and water independently.
Thematic Teaching: Self-help skills, Fine motor, mastery, hygiene
Materials: Concrete objects like: soap, towel, water
Value: An appreciation of proper washing of hands with soap and water
before and after eating
Reference: Modified Competencies for CAR-Learners with Special

2. Rub palms together.
3. Rub the back of your hand with
your palm, first the right hand
second the left hand.
4. Interlock your fingers and rub
your hands well.
5. Cup your fingers and rub your
cupped palm with the opposite
hand. Then swap.
6. Enclose your left hand with your
right thumb and rub well, then
swap.
7. Rub the tip of your fingers over
your left palm and then swap.
8. Rub around your wrist with the
opposite hand, and then swap.
9. Rinse soap off your hands. (Learners will do as instructed.)
10.Dry hands with clean dry towel.
