SERVICE CONTRACT: Intern/Business Development

This contract between Nkongo Njeck Samuel Lebon (hereinafter referred to as the
Intern) and Micah Foundation, (hereinafter referred to as a Trust) has been
established and signed by the parties for the provision of services for providing
Implementation Graduate Trainee/Business Development

STARTING DATE, The starting date of this contract is set to be from October
2023. The contract shall run for one year and it can be
reviewed or terminated before expiry of contract.

COMPLETION DATE, The completion date for the work under the Consultancy
is August, 2024.

GRADUATE TRAINEE FEES, .

The Intern shall be contracted at a monthly retainer rate of
three hundred and fifty United States Dollars (USD200) or
legal tender including Bond Notes for the entire
Consultancy and shall receive 5% commission if they
secure any funding for programmes projects.

This fee shall cover, but not necessary limited to, all input
laid out in the Terms of Reference attached in Appendix
A.

The Graduate Trainee shall be available for the Company

throughout the assignment and cannot undertake any
other assignments during the period of this agreement.

The fixed rate shall cover all overtime hours and cater for
all calendar days of work including weekends needed by
the Graduate Trainee to complete his work to the
satisfaction of the Client.

Taxes and related duties imposed by the Government of

Zimbabwe are the responsibility of the Graduate Trainee.

METHOD OF PAYMENT, The Graduate Trainee will be paid by transfer by the

Company according to the agreed payment schedule.
Payment will be made in UNITED STATES DOLLARS.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE, The Graduate Trainee will be paid as follows:

1) The payment shall be paid a monthly retainer.

ASSIGNMENT, The Intern is …… to the assignment who shall carry out the
tasks in accordance with the Terms of Reference attached
in Appendix A.

The Intern shall follow the instructions of the Company,

when carrying out the tasks agreed.

OUTPUT, All reports and other documentation, which is a result of

the Intern’s work and which are deemed necessary by the
Company according to the Terms of Reference for the
project, shall be handed over to the Company on paper
and in electronic format (in WORD2013 format or higher).

Any costs concerning the production of this material will

be for the account of the Foundation. The Intern shall
carry out the assignment from the Foundation’s premises
or at premises agreed to with the Foundation.

ALLOWANCES, Allowance shall be borne by Micah Foundation, flight,

accommodation and local travel in the event of need to
travel out of Harare or country.

TRANSPORT, The Company will provide transport in relation to the

implementation of the task under this contract.

LEAVE, There is no provision for leave or paid leave under this

contract.

INSURANCE, Any insurance required by the Intern to carry out the

assigned tasks is the responsibility of the Micah
Foundation.

TERMINATION, This Contract can be terminated at any time by both

parties giving the other party a notification of, at a
minimum, 2 weeks. The notification must be in writing.
Under such circumstance, the Intern will be entitled to a
payment for work done based the signed timesheet and
nothing more.

SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES,
The rights and obligations of the Graduate Trainee and
the Company under this agreement will be governed by
the laws and regulations of Zimbabwe depending on who
is the aggrieved.

OWNERSHIP OF REPORTS,
All reports, as well as other documents or material
prepared by the Graduate Trainee during this assignment,
will at the completion of the services become the property

CONFIDENTIALITY, Information collected during the Intern’s work under this

assignment is to be treated with confidentiality and must
only be made available to a third party upon agreement
with the Company.

CONDITIONS, The Intern will not attempt to circumvent the Agreement

between Micah Foundation and key Partners.

Terms of Reference for Micah Foundation Intern

1. Specific Objective
The specific objective of the Intern is to provide implementation assistance of goals
market, create sales and awareness of training and programmes.

2. Scope of Work
The Intern will undertake the below task:

 Marketing, sales and creating awareness for training and programmes

 Project Support
 Evaluation and implementation of Programmes design,
 Standardisation of manuals, tools
 Research and development of programmes and content of curriculums
 Facilitating stakeholder engagement
 Training and Event Facilitation
 All relevant Administrative duties

3. Time Frame and Hours of Work

Normal hours of work are 0800hrs to 1700 hrs with lunch break 1300hrs to 1400hrs,
Monday to Friday. It is anticipated that the assignment will be carried out over initial
contract of 6 months.

4. Administrative Arrangements
