US Wholesale business who sell to US retailers, need to have a resellers permit from
the US retailers. IF you are not in the US, then you DO NOT need a resellers permit.
You can use your country’s ID documentation that you are a real business.

You can however, open up a US business, I would suggest about talking with a tax
advisor for that.

2.) What do you need to be set up correctly for taxes?

I am not a tax advisor. You will need to speak a US tax professional for that. You should
ask your tax professional which forms need to be filed for the IRS to make sure you are
compliant. A tax professional will be able to tell you which forms need to be filled out.

3.) Should I sell on amazon.com or just my own marketplace, if my country has a

marketplace?
I would suggest selling on amazon.com. However, you can choose to do both, but if you
buy products from US suppliers, you will need to make sure to do step 1.

4.) How to register account on amazon if you are not a US citizen?

1.) A credit card that can accept international charges.

2.) A local bank that has ACH.

There will be currency conversions, and sometimes fees for converting. If you want
cheaper fees, check out the lesson on “Selling in international markets” in the course.

3.) Your address or business address

4.) A phone number
5.) A EIN. You do not need a US business for this. You just need to go to irs.gov and fill
out the online form 10-BEN.
