Try this as a game. Divide into three groups.

verse 1: All play the first four bars. Each group 'purrs' in tum,
and all play the last four bars.
verse 2: All play the first four bars. One group drops out, and the
other two 'purr' in tum and play the last four bars.
verse 3: All play the first four bars. Another group drops out,
leaving one group to 'purr' and finish the song.
For a bit more action make one comer of the room the
fireplace ...
