Our Chilean company Tecno-Elqui, a company dedicated to the manufacture

of gastronomic supplies, is looking for new markets and we already have

representatives in the Middle East, a market to which we intend to start
exporting our technology very soon, directly from our factory located in La
Serena, in the fourth region of Chile.
After presenting ourselves at the International Trade Exhibition on
Gastronomy and Healthy Nutrition, the second most important food fair in
the world that took place in Dubai, Tecno-Elqui has set itself, among other
objectives, to introduce its star product: a washing and disinfecting machine
for highly contaminated dishes and other kitchen items.
The fully automatic machine does not need to be touched by the user at any
time during operation, making it unique in the world thanks to its high-tech
technology, which guarantees the elimination of the infectious bacterial
bridge.
The company with more than 76 years in the market, under the leadership of
the Manager Danilo Prado, assures that they are already taking important
steps to export to the Middle East and Africa.
We have made good contacts that allow us to be in these new markets with
our products, both in the gastronomic and clinical areas.
The most impressive thing for the visitors of the fair was the demonstration
of the operation of our washing machine, which consists of introducing the
item to its washing and disinfection process, closing the door, and selecting
the desired program, without touching the machine at all.
Our growth projections for 2023 are far from any crisis and stand at a sales
increase of between 10% and 15%. Tecno-Elqui assures that both the area of
gastronomy, as well as the great activity in the health area, with new
hospitals and the reconstruction of others, are responsible for this projected
success. With 90 direct employees working in the company and a total of 115
people on the payroll.
We expect to gross US$ 3 million this year, exceeding the previous year's
turnover by 10%, in line with its international expansion.
 As for exports, we have already had experience selling in Peru, Ecuador, El
Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Honduras. We
have exclusively exported our automatic dishwashers and surgical utensils.
We collected US$ 1 million with a recent export to Peru and we have a high
probability of another export to that country for US$ 2 million. Another to
Ecuador for US$ 800 thousand, to El Salvador for US$ 170 thousand, and to
Guatemala for US$ 78 thousand, among others.
Our executives declare that the visitors to the fair were surprised with the
high technological level of the equipment developed by Tecno-Elqui, and
even more, that it was designed and manufactured in Chile.
Not only the visitors to the fair were impressed, but also all the global
competition, companies from countries such as Italy, France, Germany, and
Sweden. We have positioned ourselves as a benchmark for the rest of the
world, we are proud to say.
