Greetings from “Global Skill (A Unit of Sanskar Society)’’!!!!

As we progress towards next version of PMKVY, we would request you to share the centre’s
with us that you would like to include for PMKVY 2.0

These centre’s must satisfy the below criteria:

* Usable area 3000 sq. ft. is preferred not mandatory (Labs, Classrooms and area actually used
for training purposes)
* Must have all the available infrastructure and equipment in terms of Job role requirement
(this will be verified)
* The Centre must be a dedicated PMKVY center (must not be used for any other
trainings/schemes)
* Centre should have Broadband Internet connectivity.
* Every Centre has to be equipped with at least 15 computers connected with Internet. (Separate
IT Lab)
* Centre must have at least 2 Washrooms, one for Boys & One for Girls. (Disability Wash is
ADD on)
* Centre should have a well qualified trainer, and the trainer has to undergo a TOT Program
(Training of Trainer) organized by the respective SSC or NSDC/ NISBURD.
* Centre’s will ensure standardized and approved branding norms as defined in the Branding
Guidelines of the scheme. Branding Guideline can be found at the below link:

* Biometric Devices for capturing student and trainers’ attendance (Aadhaar enabled) shall be
mandatory at the PMKVY Centres.
* Kaushal Melas should be conducted at least once in every 3 months.
* It is mandatory for the students to maintain 80% of attendance to be eligible to appear in the
assessments.
* Training of Trainers (TOT) is mandatory for all trainers.
* Training Centers will be required to have mentorship cum placement cells.
* The per candidate base costs for different Sectors will be either Rs. 28.9 or Rs. 34.7 or Rs. 40.4
as per the trainings in various job roles.
* At least 50% wage employment and 20 % Self Employment of the certified trainees is
required, within three months of completion of certification. & Three months of placement
tracking is mandatory

Important Points for 5 Star Centre Grading / Validation:


1) Lab & Class room area = 10 Sq ft per student
2) Placement Cabin / Desk & Placement Co-ordinator is mandatory at every Centre
3) Non-Leaky, Well Finished, White Washed / Painted Walls & Clean Floor.
4) Washroom Facility, Separate for Girls and Boys.
5) AEBAS Bio-metric Attendance System
6) EDP Certified Trainer
7) Student Trainer Ratio = 30:1
8) Qualified Trainers with minimum 6 months experience.
9) TOT Certified Trainers
10) SSC Certified Training Material
11) Tool List as per Job Role
12) Pantry & Parking Facility
13) Disabled Friendly Toilet & Ramp.
14) CCTV Camera in Class, Lab & Reception
15) Overhead Projector in All Classes
16) AC in all Classes (is preferred not mandatory)
17) RO / Water Purifier
18) Power Backup
19) Library Facility
20) First Aid Kit
21) Fire Fighting Equipment
22) Scheme Specific Marketing & Branding Material Should be available at the centre as per
Branding Guidelines.
We need the below things before starting the process of centre validation:
1) Lab & Class Pics & One Outside pic of the centre
2) Rent Agreement on 100 Rs Stamp with Notary
3) Electricity Bill
4) Center Head Passport Size Pic & ID - Address Proof
5) Trainer Passport Size Pic & ID - Address Proof
6) Trainer CV in Word Format
7) Trainer Highest Education Proof
8) Picture of Power Backup, if available
9) Picture of Safe Drinking Water Facility
10) Library Photo
11) List of Books in library

Note: Quality of Training is the prime importance for us.

** Kindly fill CAAF, Annexure 1 format for your centers and send us back, as
soon as possible. So that we can get your centers validated.
