if some careful steps can keep lecture method still

• Easy method:- Teacher translates Arabic into own

• No need of more audio visual aids
• Additional benefits of learning Arabic.
• Concept of Allah, Salat, Angles, Qiamat are not
understandable by students with the help of own
language. These concept are understandable.
• Verses of Quran- Easy to understand.
• Subject matter to understand and not to understand
Arabic.

• Many translation methods easy to understand to choose
proper method.

• Students of Islamic institutions are often invited for
discussion.

Assignment Method
• Suitable in teaching of Islamiat at secondary and
Intermediate level
• Teacher discusses any important topic and creates
interest in students. He also tells about the books in
which available.
• Research habits are developed in students which is very
important for Islamiat students. The teacher can divert
the attention of students by explaining Quranic topics in
impressive way. For verses of Quran explanation it can
be done and in the same way social etiquites and
moralities.

• Students avoid to waste time and apply Islamic

• Unit method is used in teaching of Islamiat in such a
way to integrate Islamiat with other subjects.
• Unit method helps in popularizing the concept that
Islamiat is not a separate subjects but Islam covers
every aspect of life.
• There should be important logic in all topics of teaching
unit reference.
• Proposal activities should be pointed out with start and
end points
• Objectives should be clear to make the unit meaningful.23
Unit Method
• Unit must consists of such activities which give the new
skills.
• Islamiat should interrelate with the social life and topics
should be related to daily life.
• Whole book consists of less teaching units.

• Traditionally Mufti of Deen Islam have solved the problems of
people.
• Students are trained to solve the problems of daily life.

• This method can be adapted to correlate teaching of
Islamiat to practical life aspects.
• To relate daily life Issues to Islamiat for solving
problems.
• The project demands continuous activities and study.
• Student are given individual projects.
• Student should seek out practical solution to Islamiat

• The project solution is in real problem solution next
stage.

Demonstration Method
• Though this method is justified for the teaching of science, this
method can be used in Islamiat e.g., to teach prayer, ablution,
Manasik-e-Hajj etc.
IMPORTANCE
• In demonstration teacher demonstrates so teacher develops
interest in students.
• Demonstration method helps to learn: a) Arabic Language; and b)
Recitation of Holy Quran.

• This method explains the lesson.
• This method makes teaching interesting.

Heuristic Method
• Heuristic means to find to discover.
• In 19th century end Prof. Armstrong started chemical
teaching and now this method is used in many subjects
teaching.
USE OF HEURISTIC METHOD IN ISLAMIAT
• This method is in fact used to learn scientific research
style when it is told in Islamiat that Muslims see Allah
Unique, and is the creator of earth and universe.

• Lesson is presented like a problem
• Students themselves feel in problem solving process
• Students are trained to approach to the end through
this method
• Students feel that he himself is gaining information. He
is not getting guidance from teacher or book.

• This is the method of teaching which can absorb other
method into it.
• Teacher should use audio visual aids in teaching the
lesson

• For students, motivation lesson will be started with

• After announcement of lesson practical will seen with

Eclectic Method
STEPS
• Lectures would be delivered on explanation of subject.
• Students will be given understanding with the help of audio
visual aids.
• Lecture would be split up in to parts and students would be asked
questions to judge their intellectual level.
• Some topics or issues would be pointed out with the help of
questions at the end of lecture.
• Students would be divided into groups who will collect
information from Quran, Hadith, Books, Magazines, construct a
model, or prepare album in the guidance of teacher.
