1. What is Information and Communication Technology?

Subject that deals in the study of the modern technology. From social media interactions
to the industry of binance. Since most of us are in the social media platform. The subjects
also study the ever-changing technology present in our society. These types of technologies
can be used everywhere. Most prominent places include Schools, Government Facilities and
Hospitals. This type of study tackles also the behavior of the people in the current era in
terms of attitudes when they are online or surfing the world wide web.

2. Give five (5) examples on how ICT is used in our daily lives. 3. And how can we
benefit from them

Medical- Technology used in medicine is very important since it helps patients in curing
them of sickness. The newer the technology the greater the chance the patient will live. Now
that the technology is so new, I’ve seen machines make a heart beat outside a person’s body.
It’s just a matter of time before we discover the cure for cancer. Or maybe we already have?
Engineering- Engineering paired with technology can make the workload of workers less.
And helps in preventing accidents. Technology also helped in building sky scrapers and tall
building that we see now. The help of tech also helped strengthen the building we build now
since the computer will tell if the building is gonna break or will withstand catastrophic
events like the recent earthquake.
Platforming- Technology also helped entrepreneurs and businesses since they use their
social platforms to advertise their product to reach audiences even from cross countries. They
create sites for costumers to visit and now, they can buy online and be delivered right at their
doorstep. Thank to technology
Planning/School- One of the main reasons students like me survived the new normal is
because of technology. We can use our phones to plan our time and use it wisely as it helps in
time management. We can also create schedules using the technology we have now. We
don’t have to write in our notebooks now. We can simply take out our phones from our
pockets.
