At the beginning of class the teacher will show the song
“The Farmer plants the headquarters” and let the
students guess what the song is about. After
brainstorming, he will show the poster of the fruits and
vegetables on a farm and the possibility of many more.
In their notebooks, the students will draw fruits and
vegetables in each corresponding basket and then we
will fill the carrot with the vocabulary by writing their
names.

Activity: THE GIANT TURNIP

The teacher will begin with a story about the wonders that the earth gives us when we plant seeds.
After the story, the teacher will show the students a poster of fruits and vegetables to remember
their names. Then she will draw a tree on the board with the earth around it and show the students
the shapes of each fruit and vegetable. They will have to guess where in nature they grow: on trees,
on the ground or under the ground.
