Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Antonio Oswaldo López López, I am a young Mexican born in

the south of Mexico in the state of Oaxaca. I spent my first years of life in
Mexico with my parents, my 4 siblings and my grandparents where I had the
opportunity to experience the rich culture and traditions of my states and the
country in general.
From an early age, show unwavering determination to overcome obstacles and
achieve a better life.

I was born on July 24, 2005. I am currently 18 years old.

I studied preschool and primary school in a school in Mexico for 15 years, I
decided to travel to the United States in search of opportunities and a
promising future, I left the comfort of my home behind and ventured into the
unknown, taking not only my belongings, but also my Hopes and dreams.
Upon my arrival to American lands I faced a new reality, a different culture and
challenges that few could imagine, however, my resilient spirit and unwavering
determination led me to overcome every obstacle that was presented to me.
When I was 16, I enrolled in a high school in the United States. There I not only
acquired academic knowledge, but also experiences that enriched me as a
person. This stage of my life not only represented a new academic beginning,
but also a process of adaptation to a different educational system than the one
I was accustomed to in Mexico.
He stood out to me for my dedication and effort.
Despite the distance that separates me from my family, I never forget my roots
and the love I feel for my four brothers, who remain in Mexico. My commitment
to my family is a constant source of inspiration and motivation. Currently, at 18
years old, I am still working hard on my education and am determined to
continue my path to success.
My story is a testament to your resilience and determination to overcome
obstacles and make the most of the opportunities presented to me in my new
life in the United States on my path to success.
