The success of forming a child's character is not only based on internal factors but is also greatly
influenced by the environment and external influences, where the role of parents is key in
determining the moral direction and behavior of children. One of the deepest events in society is the
extent to which parents must be responsible for criminal acts committed by their children.
By detailing the factors that influence the formation of a child's character and considering the legal
implications involved, this paper aims to provide a deeper understanding of the role of parents in
preventing child crime and maintaining harmony in society.
DISCUSSION
1.1 Reasons Why Children Commit Crimes ?
There is no doubt that some children engage in criminal activities, perhaps thinking that
they are invincible. However, there are some children who commit crimes, for example
bullying, drugs and others, while there are also some children who currently commit
criminal crimes such as rape and murder.
Domestic violence can be scary and dangerous for children. Children need a safe and
compassionate home. Children who witness domestic violence are not always the perpetrators
of violence, but they are likely to solve problems with violence.
Research shows that watching too much violence on television, in movies, and in video games
can have a negative impact on children. So, it's better for parents to see what their kids see in the
media.
