INTRODUCTION :-
KASHF Foundation is a microfinance program
in Pakistan.
It specifically targets women from low-income
communities.
The foundation's methodology is based on a
standard screening and selection process
implemented across the board.
They aim to provide transformative products
and services to low income households.
Kashf was set up in 1996 as the first specialized
microfinance institution of Pakistan and began
operations as a Grameen replicator.
SERVICES & FINANCES:-
Kashf Foundation provides women access to a holistic suite of complimentary products
and services which can help them transform their lives, such as :
▪ KASHF EASY LOAN – A new product introduced to meet the
urgent needs of clients who require small
loan amounts for any purposes.
▪ KASHF MAHWESHI KARZA – A new and unique lending product
customized to meet the needs of female
rural managers involved in meat and
dairy products.
▪ KASHF KAROBAR KARZA – A credit-appraisal backed individual loan
for expanding and existing business or
setting up a new business.

▪ KASHF Sehatmand Zindagi Beema (KSZB)


A comprehensive health insurance for the whole family which is also easy
to understand.
AIMS & GOAL:
The foundation's aims and goals are as follows:

▪ To provide quality and affordable financial services to low-income households and micro-entrepreneurs,
especially women. This includes loans, savings accounts, insurance, and other financial products and services.
▪ To promote financial literacy and education among its clients. This helps clients make informed financial
decisions and manage their money more effectively.
▪ To empower women through economic opportunities. By providing women with access to financial services,
the foundation helps them to start or expand their businesses, improve their income, and make better decisions
for themselves and their families.
▪ To advocate for gender equality and women's rights. The foundation works to raise awareness of gender
discrimination and to promote policies that support women's economic empowerment.

The Kashf Foundation has been successful in achieving its aims and goals. Since its inception in 1996, the
foundation has provided over $1 billion in loans to over 2 million clients, the majority of whom are women. The
foundation has also helped to create over 1 million jobs and to improve the lives of millions of people in Pakistan.
