Leadership Styles Reflection
Leadership Styles Reflection
(BSED-English 3A)
Any organization or group must have strong leadership in order for its members to be
guided and directed toward achieving a common objective. Depending on their personalities, the
culture of the organization, and the nature of the task at hand, different leaders adopt various
leadership philosophies. My facilitative leadership style scored the highest for me on the
leadership style questionnaire, receiving a score of 11. With a score of 28 on the second
leadership style questionnaire, I identified as a democratic leader. As a result of my responses to
the leadership style questionnaires, I have found that I tend to lead in a democratic and
facilitative manner. These leadership philosophies, in my opinion, are successful in fostering a
cooperative and welcoming environment that promotes teamwork and invites participation and
input from team members. By incorporating these leadership philosophies, I hope to become a
strong leader who can support and mentor my team members as they work toward their
objectives and foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
