APPLICATION FOR AN INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT

My name is Nurfarah Hayani Binti Roshidi, a student from Universiti Sains Islam
Malaysia (USIM). Currently I am pursuing my study in 4 th year 1st semester in
Bachelor of Fiqh and Fatwa. In this upcoming February 2020 until May 2020, we are
required to go for our internship in order to complete the USIM curricular structure.
Hence, I am writing to see if you have an available position for student that is looking
for an internship placement.

The purpose of the internship is to develop our hands-on skills in the field of Islamic
law study, besides to give a good exposure of different work interface in the company
while gaining awareness to face the industry in the future.

In my four years at USIM, I’ve completed a coursework on Fiqh and Usul Fiqh,
Fatwa Management in Malaysia, Family Law and Client Counselling and Sulh
including Civil and Criminal Procedure in Syariah Court, Mooting Court, Sulh and
Negotiation, where I learned and applied skills such as preparing summon application
as well as affidavit for the court.

In addition, I spent the past semesters in three year as a volunteer that has taught and
helped me grow my skills in team collaboration, verbal communication and project
leadership. I experiencing in handling a club and organized a programme with my
teammates.

I am interested to part of the organization where I can fully utilize my skills and make
a significant contribution to the success of the employer and at the same time my
individual growth. It is another precious opportunity for me to explore and gain
knowledge as much as possible for my future preparation.
