Title: Laging Handa Kami sa BCSHS, A Symposium on Basic Strategies in


Handling Emergencies

Date: September 13,2023

Objective:
The primary goal of the symposium was to impart essential knowledge
and skills to the students, parents and teachers of Bayugan City Senior
High School, equipping them with basic strategies in handling emergencies
and fostering a culture of preparedness.

Overview:
The Laging Handa Kami sa Bayugan City Senior High School a
Symposium on Basic Strategies in Handling Emergencies was conducted on
September 13,2023 at Bayugan City Senior High School. The symposium
aimed to educate students, parents and teachers about the importance of
being prepared for various emergencies and equip them with practical
strategies to effectively handle such situations.

Activities and Sessions:

Introduction to Emergency Preparedness:


 The symposium began with an introductory session highlighting the
significance of emergency preparedness in ensuring the safety and well-
being of individuals and communities. This session aimed to create
awareness about the potential emergencies that could occur and emphasized
the importance of proactive measures.

Keynote Address:
 A distinguished speaker delivered a keynote address, providing insights into
the importance of community involvement and the role of students in
emergency response. The speaker shared real-life examples and success

Conclusion:
The Laging Handa Kami sa Bayugan City Senior High School
Symposium on Basic Strategies in Handling Emergencies achieved its

school community. We anticipate that the lessons learned will contribute to
