step2 CK experience:

 My name is Soud Deek, a non-us-graduate.

 From Annajah university.
 Total duration of preparation~ dedicated 1 year.
 Date of the exam: 22/6/2022.
 Prometric center: Amideast-Ramallah.
 STEP1: not done yet.
 STEP2CK: 276.

 # The stages of preparation:

🛑Notes: duration of stages may overlap.

✅Stage one: 3 months

This phase started when I graduated from medical school in 2021 with a total
duration of 3 months. In this stage, I only study board and beyond videos and
slides. I found this resource very helpful and valuable.

✅stage two: 5 months

At the end of the first three months of my journey, I started to solve

approximately 20s questions per day from an online UWORLD in the first
two months, then 40 questions in the next three months.
Most of the time, I solve questions randomly in the morning and then read the
explanations, tables, and algorithms during the day. In addition to that, I
made flashcards on the UWORLD application, and I studied them daily until
the end of my USMLE preparation.UWORLD is the main resource for my
preparation.
✅stage three:

This stage overlap in time with the previous and next previous stage, which
has two resources:
 Divine intervention podcast note (without listening to his podcast): total
dueation~ 3 months with 1-hour duration per day. I find this resource
somewhat helpful because it adds new tricks to me, so I recommend
reading his podcast note.
 ANKING flashcard step2ck (I recommend Dorian flashcard in
ANKING): total duration ~5-6 months.

✅Stage four:

This phase started once I finished my first run of UWORD. I tried to keep
myself away from the UWORD for nearly 1-1.5 months as a washout period
before I started the second run. I try to solve many questions from AMBOSS,
such as ethics, communication, biostat, and quality improvement, and then
read their articles

✅Stage five:

 second run of the UWORLD with 80-120q/day with MedQuest’s videos.

 duration:1.5 to 2 months

✅Stage six:

 1 month before the exam.

 did many self-assessments online and offline to assess my performance
before the exam. Therefore, reading them was highly recommended.
 Heart sounds audio from youtube( 1 day before the exam)

Reddit's threads about self-assessments for step2ck:
- Best predictive one is NBME 10 score
- Most of the examinee’s scores fall within UWSA 1 and UWSA2
- The closest self-assessment is NBME 9+10+11
- do not solve old NBME 1,2,3,4
- For Me best predictive was AMBOSS free self-assessment + NBME10+7
